Why do Sith Lords wear black hoods?

Do they feel cold? Does it make them look like a badass? Or is it to hide their identity a little?

Jedi and Sith both wear hoods. Sith just like to wear black, so they choose black over brown.

They do it because they think it makes them blend in... meanwhile, the cloaked guys stand out like a sore thumb against everyone else.
