Ignoring the OP's um....issues.

I personally don't like camping, for a multitude of reasons.

Haha, good thing about living in the country. I could easily survive in the wilderness. I often walk a mile or so into the woods behind my house and camp for a weekend. It's peaceful, and though I enjoy my electronics and such, it's great to sometime live without it, and I could easily do so if I had to. I usually take my rifle with me and hunt for my own food for the weekend, and fish in a nearby creek. It's great to live off the land.

To hell with city life. haha. I honestly think it's sad how the world is in most places, where they couldn't live without electronics and other technology. From where I'm from we normally joke about people like that..

Camping is awesome.

We are raising a generation of crybabies lol.

In all seriousness though I understand that it just isn't for some people. That is fine, if you don't enjoy it then you don't have to go camping.

However to somehow think that no one should be able to derive pleasure from it seems a bit shortsighted and egocentric at best.

not really. Kayaking and canoe hiking or even just regular old hiking is pretty entertaining. Especially when you get to see the little critters in their natural environment.

There's bugspray and lakes and there are a bunch of comfort campgrounds around that have bathrooms and showers. Of course you can also have a makeshift shower that is easily made with a ziplock ^.^

I guess I don't like camping because it's soo quiet and boring for me.. I'm not inspired by nature except when it comes to poetry.

Beside that I love the City for the loud noise the bright lights and the late nights, great musi and best vibe, great memories with people you don't even know. Just the little things :P

I live in the city and while alot of parks they still not in my immediate neighborhood. So open space is valued to me and I absolutely love grass. Trees are ok, need em but love grass.

Mowed grass as in a lawn, or tall grass like a field or meadow?

Ignoring the race thing (though, I am black, so I might be furthering the point, lol) ,I hate camping. Screw nature. Give me air conditioning, a working toilet and not being attacked by bears and bugs.

LOL I don't know why this made me laugh but it did.

I enjoy camping. I hate my phone ringing all the time, so it's nice to get out with my wife and dogs. Plus naughty time in the woods is always a good time.

Not as fun when you're on some mountainside halfway around the world wearing the same uniform for a month straight though.
