I was just think thinking about this...why didn't anyone stop the Holocaust?
US should of stopped it!
Casablanca just came out and everyone was like "OMG, that looks awesome. I wonder if it'll beat Avengers", and they got so distracted that they forgot about World War 2.
Well many didn't know it had started until it was well under way and by the time they found out we were in the middle of that minor skirmish known as World War 2.
The US, along with the other Allied nations, DID stop it. If you're wondering why they didn't stop it earlier, there was the little matter of the Axis military forces that needed to be taken care of, first. If what you're really wondering is why no one prevented the Holocaust, well, I can't answer that, any more than I can answer why an entire nation would follow an obvious lunatic, or why anyone thinks they can use a religious figure that preached love and acceptance to justify hatred and violence. There's people doing horrible things to each other in the world today, too; why is nobody stopping them?
I'm guessing the issue was the same then as it is now: tons of people are talking about how somebody needs to do something, but not enough people are willing to get off their butts and be that person.

If I were alive back then,I would have dressed up like Captain America and stop the nazis.
You should have done PED's first to compensate for the lack of SS Serum.
That or just go back in time, and punch Hitler in the face.@CrimsonCake said:

I could tell you why Japan didn't help... I don't know much about US history.

This makes me think about some kid I was talking to a while back. He suggested that Hitler was not as horrible as people make him out to be. I really wanted to punch him for a moment, but then I took the time to calm myself. If someone had killed Hitler early on, the whole thing would have fell apart. He really was the glue that held that whole party together. The idea would have lived on however, who knows maybe if Hitler had not been born in 1889 and did not go into power in the 1920's... It would have just happened later on possibly. Just a thought. Its just a matter of time before the world has another Hitler, maybe next time someone will kill that person early on. We are supposed to learn from our mistakes, even if we hardly ever do.

Maybe I'm just to "lovey-dovey" of a being to exist but I would hope in the future we would kill that person early on as much as correct their misconceptions and maybe help that person to exist in harmony with the rest of us...I'm not a hippie I promise lol.
