Why do you continue?

I started because I was tired of being the skinny kid that couldn't bench press the bar or do 1 pullup. I started because I wanted to have a nice body. I continue to workout because I've seen the health benefits and don't want to go back. I've also grown to enjoy my time at the gym more than many of my old habits like watching television or playing videogames.
I.... am a very stubborn person. I always lay as much stress on my body and mind hoping to become the best version of myself I can be. People often tell me that I am crazy for waking up early some days to workout, people always say its easier to do so and so. But here's the thing. I don't care if its easy or not. Life is not meant to be easy. I do whatever I can to be the best. I strive for perfection every day. I don't do easy. I started working out because I knew it was another challenge I had to overcome. I workout as much as I can becasue I'm never satisfied with my results. I'm always hungry.

So I could stop being considered the runt of my family. Also, women, I mean let's be honest.
Now I do it, because I'm strangely in love with the pain. Maybe because I have a lot of repressed rage.
To defeat my evil twin brother and save the Holy Lands from the 1000 years of darkness that has engulfed them, lift the curse, and fulfill my destiny.
Foreal though, to become the arm wrestling champion at my middle school. Haven't legitly worked out for a good while though. Lol. Main reason for continuing(if I did) would be to look good, feel better, live a better lifestyle, and it's more advantageous to be in fit shape than overweight.
So that I would consume excess water in a world where fresh, clean water is scarce and will become increasingly so.
I used to get all my exercise (mostly cardio) when I played competitive soccer and when I stopped, my body reacted accordingly. Someone claimed he could make me healthier, stronger and even hotter and dared me to let him prove it. So I took on the dare and he proved it. I keep working out because I like how I feel and look. Him keeping me in line helps too.
At first it was just to get as strong as possible but that was back when I was a kid. Now it's mainly for aesthetics.
So i can eat like a mtn troll ! Plus i like lifting heavy things. It really makes me happy moving one heavy iteam from place to another. I do functional strength training. Kettlebells, ropes, body lifting and i run monday threw thursday. But this also helps my body out i have Acromegaly. One of the reasons i type so awful is that my hands are so big. But so far only one tumor!
