I was looking on youtube and I saw this video about gay comic book couples with over 6,000 views. I just dont get it
Why are gay comic book characters so popular?
6,000 isn't a lot. Should be asking why lame singers, actors ...ect are so popular.
Rebecca Black rings a bell.

Yeah that Rebecca Black lady has the voice of an angel, today is Friday, Tomorrow is Saturday, then next is Sunday!
" Why should a character's sexual orientation make a difference to if you read it or not if people actually like that character?
@isaac_clarke: What comes after Sunday O.o? "
I know it starts with an M and I'm not sure Rebecca got to that day so I have to wait for the sequel song to find out.

But she never got around to finishing it.
You think if I do a quick sequel I can get over a 100 million views, a record deal and some random middle age guy in an SUV to add some racial diversity to my video?

I believe there's so many hits is because the gay community has become a major part of modern culture. It's not that hard to figure out. Writers of comics want to reach out to all circles of society. It's like how, in the '70s/'80s, when racism (or the acceptance of it) was dying out, many comic writers began making black comic heroes ( <3 Vixen & Black Lightning! Whoot whoot!). As the acceptance and popularity of an idea grows, it gets published in everything.
Now, do I necessarily agree w/ the gay-lifestyle? No. I do not. But I ain't gonna go hatin' on 'em either. That's just as bad. Hate the deed, not the doer...that's what I say. So many people who don't like gays go waaaay over the edge with mistreatment. It's wrong, and I think people really need to grow up and figure out why they disagree with something and how to approach it.
Except for the major part of modern culture part, I entirely agree. (Like Apple Macintosh, percentage-wise they're still a minority, but they do have quite the voice now.) It's fine to not be fond of a certain thing, but it doesn't mean it's alright to treat people like a KKK member would. We can't be expected to find the same things attractive or correct, but it doesn't mean we have to be hate-mongers about it." Rictor is the only character I've ever heard of being gay, actually.

I've never thought I could change anyone's minds about what they do or do not believe is good or right
I've only ever asked people to be understanding and tolerant
and it's nice to hear that you are
so yeah, thanks I guess
on behalf of ....my people?
that sounded less Moses-y in my head

today I also made up "Tapestrial" meaning that something has qualities like or likened to those of a tapestry
such as "I really like the design on that piece, it has a tapestrial quality to it."
