Lex Luthor is to blame r, it's all apart of his plan. He will campaign to save us from this ecconomic down turn, and be elected as President come 2012 Anyways, reminds of what some one once said. They said that America's fiancial state was falling faster than a fat man on a ladder. However, a lot of other countries if not all are at the bottom of that ladder.

@Rudyftw: We did bring this on ourselves didn't we. Our government is abhorrently inefficient, it seems like all they do if fight over dumb #### instead of doing anything, and we have no one to blame but ourselves.

We are not a third world country. I love how people over-react. Sub-prime mortgages, loans and spending when we shouldn't, a war we should not have gotten into, no investing in our infrastructure, deregulation, not have details in the legislation that help bail out larger companies that would federally hold would be embezzlers accountable for abusing the funds that were meant to save the companies, not having the rich pass the proper amount of taxes because they are rich, capitalism with no heart, mind, or compassion are among the many reasons why this country isn't as good as it should be.

A rigged currency system, unfair trade agreements, a convoluted tax code, incompetant and/or dishonest politicians, greedy banks & corportations and a largely apathathetic American citizenry.

What? the last president smart enough to figure that out was Ronald Reagan. Of course he belived Clark Kent was Shawn Micheals and Superman was Krusty.
