Pre-52 Wally West wasn't as funny as alot of people like to think, or seem to think. He was funny as Kid Flash, and even then, that wasn't that funny.

Never read any pre 52 comics so I don't know how funny Wally is. But I did read some Spider Man comics and I found Parker's humor to be overbearing.
