if it's actually based on being a good person than yes I will go to heaven even as an atheists, and all the priests who molest little boys will go straight to hell.

@jonez120: Criteria of going to hell was never changed, a new variable was added, one of forming a direct relationship between you and the son of God.

Don't know if Hell exists but most likely yes. In fact the bible claims that majority of non religious to even the people following the bible go to hell anyways. God knew humans were not going to be very nice so he made a lot more room for Hell than in Heaven. There are many sins that we don't know we are breaking on a daily basis because there are many unusual sins in the bible.

But also that depends on what Hell you are are talking about from what religion?

He's real, but I don't think he's everything he claims to be. Gods are like political candidates except they want your worship, not your vote. They'll make up anything to make you fear them.

Supposedly he doesn't HATE anyone, though it sure seems like some people get special treatment. But anyway, when I die, I want to hold no spiritual ties to anything. I want to be free.

Just want to say this one thing without turning this into a total religious debate, at a church of mine a man had a tumor in his body about half the size of your fist. After lots of prayer as his scheduled surgery came up once he was cut open his tumor was the size of a grape and it was easily cut from his body. They didn't know what to say, and their tech hadn't malfunctioned, tumors don't just shrink in size they have a tendancy to grow bigger and bigger which is why they need to be taken care of ASAP. That is an example.

I want to use a cliche argument if you don't mind, just because you haven't actually seen a trillion dollars, physically, before your eye's doesn't mean its not out there.

yeah I get that in christianity he(god/yeshewa) doesn't claim to be the only god. but he does claim to be the creator of everything and refer to the other "gods" as "false".

however in this case it's more like "vote for me. I don't exist!"

my atheist aunt of my atheist family, in which there was 0 prayer involved had a similar case. they're was a mistake in the imaging.

@eisenfauste: I'm glad for the person at your church. However I would like to go even deeper than miracles, how do you know that the God of the Christian faith performed that miracle? How do you know it wasn't Buddha or Allah or Vishnu? Why do you firmly believe that it is the Christian God who exists?

You can't argue against it because there is nowhere to make a point it is illogical. I would like to be supplied proof of any source that the Christian god exists.

true but the bible claims the earth is only what 1,000 years old? and that adam and eve weren't cave people.

which of course evolution proves false. the earth was also formed over billions of years after the Big Bang. Not created totally in 7 days with people and all.

I believe neither in hell, nor any of man's religions. That said, if I'm wrong, I'm prob'ly going dowwwwwn.
