Who listens to Video Game Music like Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, Tekken, Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid etc?
Who listens to Video Game Music?
Blaster Master has one of the best themes ever, although Megaman dominates when it comes to overall soundtrack quality.
I really appreciate good music when I'm playing a game but I don't listen to it outside of playing games.
mucho. we have a epitome of a thread dedicated to it by my friend gerald (miss you buddy)

" @saiyan_earthling said:To quote Terry Bogard:" @CATPANEXE: That's just a thread of what your favourite VGM is. This thread asks "Who listens to VGM?" "I wasnt suggesting a dupe thread, sorry if it was implied. (: just pointing out and giving props to a thread of interest. "
OK! :)
lol.
and in the interest of yours, i listen mostly to game music in its native format on either AudioOverload or FOXM1 for certain arcade tracks,
as to experience it lossless.I also have a huge love for cover bands like The Minibosses, Mega Driver, The Neskimo's, Cursor, ect.
As for me, I usually listen to VGM's from fighting games (mostly Street Fighter, but of course Tekken and SNK games), Devil May Cry, MGS1 and recently the old Double Dragons 2 and 3 on Nintendo =)
My favorite VGMs are from the MGS series, Shinobi series, Streets of Rage series, Sonic series, and lots of classic Genesis and NES and SNES games.
I usually don't just listen to it for fun, but I am in the Bowling Green State University, Game and Anime Music Ensemble (G.A.M.E. which you just lost) so I listen to and play video game music as well as anime music on the trumpet for them.
We are playing the Super Smash Bros. theme, Court Suite from Phoenix Wright, a Castlevania melody that combines various music from some Castlevania games and several other songs from video games and anime
Here is our blog/website

We are playing at Ohayocon this year as well as a convention at BGSU called Animarathon each year as well as at a few other things at BGSU.
Yay for a shameless plug? :D
I have discovered MANY awesome bands and music, via video game sound tracks....some introduced me to bands I'd never even listen to before. Video game soundtracks are an AWESOME aspects to the genre, in general.
