For me, I might have to go either Statham or Michael Jai White.
Who is your favourite martial artist/actor/actress?
@powerherc: He acts?
@powerherc: He acts?
He has had speaking parts in movies. Lol.
@wolverine08: Jackie Chan is way slower now then he was back then sadly :(

Ha!
I forgot about Scott Adkins...
:O!
Jet Li and Jackie Chan are close seconda for me.
Two of my favourite films of theirs.
Sylvester Stallone
Liam Nesson
I always liked Jason Momoa
None of those are martial arts actors, are actors that do actions movie and get teach to do stunts.
Even Chrisiant Bale did a Martial Arts movie.
Robert Downey Jr. does martial arts in his movies too.
This is not like Keanu who did Man of Tai Chi after the Matrix.
Also remember he knows Kung Fu, hehehehe.....
You like Statham more that:
Bruce Lee
Donnie Yen
Sammo Hung
Iko Wais
Tony Jaa
Micheal Jai White
Scott Adkins
Jet Li
Jackie Chan
@deathpoolthet1000: Sylvester Stallone can drop all those actors
#bring it!

Also Stallone has said Van Damme could kick his ass!!!
@deathpoolthet1000: Oh, when say it like that... I pick Liam Nesson.
@vance_astro: Is hard to people to pick females, since the whole girls with gun suv genre is not going as strong as it used to go.

Jeeja Yanin isn't just any female. She's like Tony Jaa in woman form.
@vance_astro: Yeah, but she was in less memorable movies and her fight scenes arent as epic as Tony Jaa ones.
She is the next Tony Jaa, but like Tony Ja there is something missing with him.
She is not the next Angela Mao.
Also the Martial Arts industry is no very good for asian girls that arent chinesse.
Oshima, Moon Lee and Cynthia Khan were amazing, saddly they were japanese.

I think the fight scenes in Chocolate & Raging Phoenix are just as good as the ones in Ong Bak & the Protector. I also think Tony Jaa is just as good as far as fight choreography & theatrics as Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen, & Jet Li. His movies probably aren't as good as Yen's & Chan's but probably better than alot of Li's.
@vance_astro: Chocolate is as epic as The Protector but not as good as Ong Bak 1, Raging Phoenix has the problem of being to over the top and silly for his own good and The Kick had the problem is to be about Tea Kwon Do champions, the concept of fights were great, but there was something missing in the last 2.
Jackie Chan has changed the industry several times, many of his movies had concepts no one think about using before him, not only that the stunts were bigger that anything else and done in real locations.
Donnie Yen introduce elements to the movies from "MMA", Wing Chun is popular agains thanks to him, several of moves that werent used or were going out of style were saved by Yen, besides he take several of Bruce Lee moves and concept in his movies.
Jet Li did several great movie in a road, franchises and faced several of the best in many times.
Jaa has the problem that Adkins and Iko Uwais came out, he was the only one during a time, he was the king of the hill, until Adkins came and did several things like him, but also put moves from other martial arts, Undisputed show him using Jujitsu, Judo and others, Iko Uwais came and show everybody Silat, an style not so many knew and was never filmed right, Uwais show an special style that look like nothing other people could do, then he did The Raid that became maybe the biggest Martial Arts hit since, well Ong Bak, but it also show that Uwais had abigger potential that Jaa, Jaa biggest problem is that he cant get out of Muay Boran or mix it with other styles, he can go from style to other style, but he dont mix it.
Jaa is great, but Adkis and Uwais are in the same level, they just arent as famous as him and for the same dont get the same recognition.
Also Uwais did Man of Tai Chi with Keanu as the director, he has less movies that Jaa and call attention of many people in less time.
If you ask me, as much as i love Adkins and Jaa, Uwais is the king of this generation and he is getting bigger faster that Jaa, take the fact his first movie came out in 2009, in 4 years he got into Hollywood made movies and in 3 he did a movie that is seen like it changed the game.
I forgot about Scott Adkins...
:O!
