I don't like rap. Like...at all.

That being said. I like this guy. So he's my favorite by default.

Kanye West, even though his lyrics often tell the same ol' stories over and over again.

@fallschirmjager: Who calls a song 'The Holocaust?' You have so many posts where you seem like you are somewhat sympathetic to Nazis. I'm not saying because of this one post, that would be stupid. But it's been kind of an ongoing thing I'm starting to take notice of...

Kendrick Lamar. He is great, he isn't repetitive and ignorant like alot of other annoying rappers. Kanye West is second.

He debuted 1999. And earlier, if you count Infinite and the EP.

And I really don't know what its about or care. I just like the guys' tunes.

But feel free to think what you want. I don't care what some random internet person thinks of me.

That's hard since most rappers from 2000 suck a$$.

I could say lupe but lasers sucked

I could say kanye but 808 sucked

I could say Immortal technique but he's underground(which is better than mainstream)

Eh........ Juicy J I guess.

You're a Juicy J fan? I'm in shock.

In 2000 Childish Gambino and then Jay Electronica.

I think you do. If you really didn't care, you wouldn't have responded. ;-)

EDIT: Also notice how you didn't deny it.

If spend all my time trying to change the stupid opinions of internet strangers, I'll never have time to do anything else.

I responded only to point out, how stupid you in fact are, so feel special.

I didn't attempt to correct you because again: I don't care what you think.

@veshark: I wouldn't say that I enjoyed a couple of songs on there 313,Infinte,Jealousy Hoe,and a couple of others are really good In my opinion for lyrics, instrumentals, and tone.I would say that these are among his best honestly.Though the quality is poor and decent at best It is still a good track.

Em was good lyrically, especially for a newcomer, on the album. Where it failed was in terms of originality and the album's execution as a whole. I.e. it's instrumentals felt very generic in attempting to imitate the East Coast, and most of the tracks' subject matter was very typical.

Em had none of the sarcastic comedy, storytelling skills, using different voices and flows, and inventive songs that he showed on the Slim Shady LP. Compare 'It's OK' to 'Rock Bottom' or 'If I Had'. It's OK is good sure, but nothing special. Rock Bottom and If I Had cover the same subject matter, but in a far more interesting manner.

313 is a pretty catchy song though, with good verses from both Em and Eye-Kyu.
