Who is the worse father in anime/manga history?

In your opinion. give at least two paragraphs why if possible.

Ash ketchum's dad for obvious reasons.

Speed Racer's dad.

Letting him go on all those ridiculously dangerous faces time and again.

The Father.. he ate greed.

And gambino-Gut's father would be pretty high on the list, too.

Shou Tucker.

He's pretty messed up. Think of anything more evil than this. He used his own daughter as a guinea pig and his Dog just to created a Chimera. Nothing can top that. Who does such a thing like that?

Seriously. Shou did something really terrible. But Gendo is basically a trope codifier for bad anime dads.

I thought I read somewhere that Gendo was jealous of Shinji because he thought he stole Yui's love from him or something like that.

He was a horrible father, seriously he allowed guts to get raped for money and almost tried to kill him. All of Guts social problems come from his dad's upbring.

How are putting Goku above Paragus? The man who straight-up used and controlled his mentally unstable son to get revenge on the sayain royal family. That man deserves a 'World's Best Dad' coffee mug for sure.

That was canon in the manga. He straight up grabs Shinji by the collar and tells him this to his face.

Pretty sure I've read a good amount of H-Manga where the dad's are pretty..messed up..there's also the dad from the manga Jikoguren. That guy tops everyone that was listed as far IMO.
