Who is smarter? Peter Parker or Bruce Wayne?

Look I don't care about how young Peter Parker was when he made the web shooters. I'm not talking about the engineering skills. I'm talking about pure intelligence to learn about whatever they want as fast as they can.

As of late, I'd say Peter. Bruce used to be a lot smarter than he is now.

They're both superior to each other in different fields.

But overall I'd say Bruce.

Peter Parker. Like it or not, if it's a contest on intelligence, engineering skills and creativity is on the table.

Bruce as of now, but Peter has the potential to be on even ground with him.

Depends really, but overall I'd say Bruce easily...the guy's outsmarted the JL and Darkseid. Come on...lol

Parker's a mere science nerd with powers.

Plus, as others pointed out there's different kinds of smarts. Batman is typically dangerous to metahumans and godly beings, which says it all...lol

Peter is a Science Whiz. Bruce is an Everything Whiz.

Peter. Some of the items he created during Ends of Earth took a lot of skill and creativity

In terms of engineering skills the two are fairly similar. During his time at Horizon labs, Peter created some pretty nifty gadgets. However, in terms of strategic thinking and deductive ability Bruce is on another level.

Peter, before he was spiderman, was a straight up nerd who didnt spend time on the streets. Bruce on the other hand has spent quite a bit of time in the slums.

When it comes to combat Spidey usually can think of a way to beat an unknown opponent. Bruce will usually have trouble the first time around, and only that time around. For example bruce fought bane and lost once, he doesnt lose again unless hes outnumbered or injured. Peter fought several villains like green goblin and beat him the first time.

it's hard to say for sure but I'll try. Batman can think of things when he has time to study. he can sit and read a book and comprehend all of it fairly quickly. I would say he can do this more-so than Parker and is therefor more resourceful. Parker on the other hand and come up with a solution, especially when the situation demands it. He always finds a way out and that's what makes him so slippery. They both are incredibly smart though it just depends on the situation.

Also it's reasonable to question whether or not Peter would have done the same as Bruce, had he had the resources.

I think what he's saying is when it comes to overall IQ, Peter is higher. Peter is a specialist in his intellect: it's math, science, technology. He's also incredibly quick-witted and has good improvisation.

However, Batman has greater general knowledge in areas Peter doesn't. Batman has also shown to be better with preparing contingencies and exploiting weaknesses and laying defensive groundwork against his enemies. Unless I've misunderstood him, in which case this still stands as my own interpretation.

I'd say they're equal, in different ways.

Peter is slightly more smart, but has FAR less resources.

Overall Bruce. Peter might be a little better in science but bruce is great at that too and he has engineering and inventing feats as good as peters. So they're pretty much equal in science and math. The reason I say Bruce is because of his expert tactics skills, detective skills, expertise in criminology and psychology and he has an amazing memory. You have to have one of those to learn everything he did that quickly.

Plus bruce is older and more experienced

Batman is quite a bit smarter. The only field Peter has him in is probably biology tbh.

Bruce, if you are talking overall intelligence in all possible ways Bruce blows him out of the water. He's a human being who takes on God's and other superpowered beings merely through intelligence. Everything he does is intelligence from martial arts to science, to detective work, to escape artistry, etc
