By intelligence I mean things like performance in scientific fields, creativity, problem solving, ease of learning, memory, the level at which they can think, intuition, imagination, originality of ideas, math skills, reasoning and other such similar things. Who is more intelligent?

Albert Einstein was a brilliant theoretical physicist. So basically, could Skynet beat Albert Einstein in all-aspects of physics?

@princearagorn1:

Could you please explain in a little more detail. What is it that makes you think Albert Einstein is more intelligent than a calculator? That's what I don't understand. Could you back-up your statement with a few reasons. Your statement is very arbitrary. As far as I know, there are much more intelligences than what Albert Einstein was capable of and I think Skynet had a lot more of those intelligences, more than Albert Einstein, I think.

Also, have you heard of the technological singularity?

Skynet take down mankind, over 6 billion humans, Einstein could never be as smart as 6 billion humans.

So Skynet.

Unless they're programmed to want to learn more and to be innovative that is. That's why we don't want to build human-like AI's today. People think they would begin to question our existence, become sentient, and then Age of Ultron would be real.

Skynet, because of how fast it adapted, fooled the entire human race and made terminators ridiculously advanced considering the timeline of such.

Einstein for a human is smart, but also lived in a more primitive time. I think he was ahead of his time but ultimately wouldn't do much vs. skynet

Is this thread another Einstein vs Hawking debate like that epic rap battle between them? Cause I see Hawking as the head of Skynet. His voice itself is so Skynet-ish.

Yeah and they were dumb enough not to maximize its use. No competition with the stupidity of their mistake as well. Nyehehehehe!

Dont matter what you say, Skynet outsmartted the mankind, this means 6 billion humans.

If every human had 1 point of iq or, it would mean Skynet outsmarted a being with an iq of 6 billion.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THINKING AND PROCESSING?!

I've never been able to understand that?

And aren't machines suppose to be MUCH more intelligent in every possible way?

The cognizance and rather limited sagacious prowess is evident here. For example: Einstein was clearly a dexterous mathematician, but he was by, no means, a genius in the area. In fact, his life long friend Marcel Grossmann was the true mathematical genius that Einstein relied upon heavily. His first wife, Mileva Maric, would often check Einstein's math and equations for possible mistakes when he was developing the theory of relativity.

There is a vast difference between being smart and being intelligent; the former possessing the knowledge, the latter with the ability to comprehend the paradox of a conundrum to adhere the solution. Understand the difference, and this thread becomes that much easier to resolve in a series of debates.

no difference. just that one is used for living being the other for machines. just so you dont have to say the pc thinks a little slower because of all the p*rn. for example.

@jorgevy:

By imagination you mean thinking about things and new, innovative ideas, right? In other words, creativity, right? Well, what makes you think Skynet lacks creativity?

And what do you mean by "just a super AI"? If an AI is advanced enough, can't it be more intelligent than a human being?

@tjsh96: to answer both of them; unless they have emotions nope. emotions are extremelly connected with creativity, imagination, thought and problem solving and to be able to be so advanced to surpass humans they need emotions, simple as that. so if the AI ofSkynet can develop that, then yeah, they are above, otherwise not

Albert Einstein has what every human has which computers lack. Imagination and creativity. There is no thinking outside the box for a computer it is bound by logic and even then only the logic that is pre programmed into it.

I consider adaptability to be superior to pure intelligence (I mean pretty much any computer is more intelligent than a person in the sense it can solve equations easier; however, Einstein trumps in creativity the man was one of the few men to surpass all expectations through imagination.)

If were talking about pure mathematics Skynet with out a doubt, but in terms of creating theories Albert in a landslide
