Besides Sanji, the Straw Hat cook from One Piece, who in comics/manga is a good cook?
Who in comics/manga is a good cook?
Dammit, I was going to say Sanji (although I forgot his name), not that I don't know others but it was the first to spring to mind
While I was out looking in TV tropes, I've found out that Magneto is also a good cook. Here's what I've found:
Though it is rarely shown, Magneto (yes, that Magneto) is a highly skilled cook who knows how to create delicious meals even with few ingredients to work with. This is actually justified, given that he grew up in the Warsaw Ghetto and Auschwitz and developed these skills for the survival of himself and his family.
- Also, a case of Fridge Brilliance, as this skill was first brought up during Chris Claremont's run on Excalibur but there were hints to it long before. Claremont was not only the person who gave Magneto his tragic backstory, but during the time he wrote X-Men he occassionally had Magneto in scenes before or after he had eaten a meal. As part of Magneto's increased Anti-Villain status Claremont rarely gave him minions to order around compared to past portrayals, but this also means that all those meals (and in at least one instance, a full feast for guests) would have likely had to have been made by Magneto himself.
And to quote Magneto, "As you know, I am no savage. To go along with my vast powers I am also quite the skilled cook. It was a necessity during my time as a child prisoner of Nazi concentration camps."
Wonder Woman was also shown to be a good cook:
Averted in an issue of JLA Classified written by Gail Simone, where Wonder Woman presents the other members of the JLA with a traditional Themyscrian pastry. Flash and Green Lantern are more than a little panicked at the thought that Wonder Woman bakes... and shocked by the tasty results.
- Which leads to a Crowning Moment of Funny when Batman, after a grim monologue, turns and says "Diana, Alfred will need that recipe."
Jiro
He was made by Bourdain based on the real Jiro as in best damn sushi chef in the world

Strange how in most comics, all you see is superheroes, while in manga, you see things in relation to one subject. For instance:
Naruto - Ninjas
One Piece - Pirates
Toriko - Cooking/Food
etc, etc.
@saiyan_earthling: back then comics used to be all about the noir and horror
then CCA f*cked it up
