My classmates are the problem.
who here hates school
I despise the people at my college. But not the college itself.
that must suck...
I used to hate it, but then I remembered that it's where I see my friends and can get away from my parents

This guy gets it.

@claymore1998: Well do you know what else is news to you?
The 21st centruy!!
(get it? Because you're so old?) :D
@claymore1998: Creepy news: I (think) know the location of the gas station you work at 0_0
I know.
But that's alright nothing too creepy about it.
No one's going to come to my shop looking for me I hope.
^_^
@claymore1998: I just might stop by for a visit
I don't mind it so much, but I think that's just because it's the life I'm used to.
I've spent the last six years in four different institutions and I'm finally about to get my freaking bachelor's degree.
I don't even know what life will be like when I get my degree and finish school. I might eventually just go for a master's or something just because school is the life I know.
And am I the only one who noticed this thread got resurrected from seven years ago?
I mean, it's not that important. But as far as thread resurrections go that's kinda crazy.
@itsomething: Lol I wasn't trying to be.
8th grade eh? Looking forward to high school?
I hate school :( Luckily I'm a senior and this is my last year :D But then there will be collage which I'm not sure what I'm gonna feel about that. Elementary school was the best 5 years of my life. Middle school felt like I was in a concentration camp. High school is kinda in between

It's catching on...soon you'll be the Grandmother of CV, @claymore1998. ^_^ When it gets out of hand you'll have me to blame.
The only reason I hate school is because I made bad choices and failed some high school classes, now I have to do the minimum graduation plan which means I have to go to a vocational school and get my pre-requisites and THEN I get to go to college. Let this be a lesson to all that read this and aren't already in high school...DON'T SCREW AND BE AN IDIOT! GO TO SCHOOL, DO YOUR WORK, AND GO TO A GOOD COLLEGE! It really complicates things if you pull an Artyom like I did.
Yea high school sucked. I'm not gonna sugar coat it and I don't believe in nostalgia but there will be a time when you realize that for the most part you probably had it easier then.
Yes I know some people have legitimately awful experiences during that time but most of us will go through much worse once the responcibilities of adult life kick in.
Honestly there is always gonna be something causing you grief cause thats life, its hard and mostly unfair and anyone who tells you different is either lying or extremely niave. So just find whatever joy you can.
Elementary School was actually fun, when my dog died i was so depressed at home but when i got to the school i didn't feel that sad at all..
High School is bad, i got friends in it and all but my best friends are in a other class. in Elementary School i used to be the funny and respected guy, now when i was in High School i was just the normal guy with friends who just sits there with them and uses our phones..
College is alright, i met new friends and started over, everyone likes everyone in my new class pretty much and that's what i like about it..
Freshman Year: I actually liked my first year of high school for the most part because I was still all about what we in my area called "that eighth grade sh**." It means we aren't serious and still have a middle school mentality. I had a reasonable amount of classes with friends and no horrible teachers. Only bad side, I was under threat the whole year of getting jumped by one of the local gangs because a few of their members disliked me from sixth grade.
Sophomore Year: Hated it. Had an annoying ass class right from the beginning of the day. Had no classes with friends. The only good classes were English, where my teacher genuinely liked me, BUT she was away 70% of the year so it was often a substitute. And the last two classes were nice. But the first half of the day was a nightmare.
Junior Year: Hell. I had one of the meanest teachers for a boring ass elective which I always skipped. My Spanish teacher who I thought was cool failed me, even though he always praised me for being one of the "gokd students." I can't say anything good about this year.
Senior Year: Confusing. Over half the staff was replaced with a new with a new administration that had no idea what they were doing and turned the school upside down. Many people nearly didn't graduate because of the new program. Me included. Mostly because an assload of people were not informed what classes they needed to releat UNTIL SENIOR YEAR. Which is why everyone was in remedial classes the whole year to make up missed credits. However, I had VERY good teachers this time. Liked every single one. However the new faculty ruined what could have been a good year.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to fail physics and english because I moved at the beginning of my Senior year (worst mistake EVER) We do Physics and English on a computer and I have to complete 100% of the assignments or you fail, but A) I missed a good majority of them do to moving and B) My teacher never assigns my assignments on time. I have 24% of them done and the semester ends next Friday...these next two weeks will be the busiest work weeks of my life.
I hated school. I Just found is stressful, loud and claustrophobic.
In retrospect, being able to see my friends all the time was very cool though, we rarely have the time to all get together these days.
1. I have recurring nightmares where I have to go back to high school to graduate. I didn't hate high school as it was happening, but once I got a taste of freedom, the idea of being forced to go somewhere and do something where I will be bossed around all day has become completely repugnant to me.
2. College was fun. I didn't party, but I found the academics themselves entertaining. I'm a good student and I enjoy learning, and the fact that I was able to choose to go to college, choose my schedule and choose when I studied made it an invigorating experience rather than a chore. It's miles better than working an 8-5 job every day.
3. Much of school is a complete waste of time, and I say thing as someone with a brief teaching career. Past grade school, the intellectual students want to learn but they are drug down by the teacher having to manage the lowest common denominator in class while the more artisan students are bored out of their skulls and would be much happier doing something that requires hands on experience. Forcing every student down the same path ruins education for both groups.
@noone301994: I'm getting mixed feelings about highschool
@itsomething: It's just different. Once you get used to the transition you'll be good.
@noone301994: I still don't know your age, can you just put it in a simple mathematical equation?
