Who has the greatest animated shows, the 90's or the 00's?

Both decades had some great cartoon shows. But which one had the better shows?

And can you name a favorite from one or each of them?

00's for me.

Because of nostalgia, i am neutral here.

Despite the gems such as Animaniacs and BTAS in the 90s, I have to go with the 00s for a greater consistency of truly brilliant animated shows.

I'm a bit neutral, but I'm leaning more towards the 90's. Some of the stuff I watched in the 90's continued in the 00's as well.

Some awesome shows in the 90's, stuff like X men, BTAS, ren and stimpy, Rocko and some other good shows. I mainly watched things that were both late 90's and 2000 shows, like courage the cowardly dog and ed edd n eddy. Courage the cowardly dog is a great show, love it. 000's just have a lot more quality stuff volume wise but there is a special place in my heart for the stuff listed above (especially X men and courage.)

When did Adventure Time start cus that's the greatest cartoon since Ren and Stimpy.

I have to lean more toward the 90s. You have the holy trinity of comic book shows (X-Men, Batman, and Spider-Man). South Park is a hold over that started in the 90s. The only 00s animated series I really loved was Boondocks.

Leaning towards the 00's. I love BTAS but there was also Courage, JLU, and Spongebob (briefly; it went downhill after a bit).

90's had the funnier ones, 00's had the better ones

00's for me. But 90's were great too. Just recently discovered Gargoyles.

For me, it's the 2000s because I grew up during that time.

Well, I don't know much about Sonic.

I grew up mid 90s to mid 00s. So I don't know! >.<

I'd have to say 00's by default. I was born in 98 so I really didn't get to experience the 90's, but my childhood cartoons were pretty amazing and I couldn't have asked for better entertainment back then. Sometimes I wish I could relive those times just once more.

I'm a 90s kid for life but I have got to give this one to the 00s kids.

I tend to go back to 90s stuff more so than from 00s, so I guess 90s.

00s, but only slightly. Both have great, great cartoons.

The 90s had Batman TAS, Gargoyles, The Tick and Animaniacs, the 00s really had nothing that even compares to those. Not saying all the cartoons from the 00s are bad just that the 90s had some of the greatest animated shows of all time.
