Just wondering if your not a child obviously what group gets less respect by other people?
The Pro Wrestling fan?
Or
The Comic Book fans?
Not sure. Both are huge franchises, especially wrestling. I don't see why either should get disrespected but I'll say comics because I've never really seen a bunch of people disrespect wrestling.
@thecannon: You fell directly into my trap card.
A couple of years ago, I would have said comicbook fans, but with the rise of comicbook movies, im inclined to say wrestling fans

Good point.
Next time you find yourself in a large crowd, look for wrestling & comic shirts. You won't find a single wrestling shirt.
I would say wrestling fans because comic book movies and because i would get teased because "im watching naked men grab eachother" but im am a bigger fan of wrestling then comics just to clear things up
@hollow_point: You in the Marines?
@lesterlawton: Attitude Era you couldn't be in a crowd and not see a wrestling shirt! Also this is a comic site I hope we're not being biased everyone

Inaccurate.
I also agree with this
@lesterlawton: Seriously?
Im not sure, just carry yourself with respect and people probably won't care about wrestling or comic books
Comic books get less respect but comic book characters get more respect if that makes any sense. I mean, people don´t respect someone reading a comic book but If they have merchandise and go watch the movies of a comic book character, they don´t have a problem and they don´t disrespect it. The thing is that comic book characters have grown from they original mediums and now they can be considered movie characters also (movies are a very respected medium but comics are not)
Wrestling no doubt.

That
We are living in the age of the comic book nerd. Most of my friends find my nerd knowledge amusing and occasionally helpful as I can discuss movie and tv shows coming up or give insights into character backgrounds. They mock me for it, but it's all in good fun from most of them. There are a few snobs.
Wrestling fans don't get any respect but from other wrestling fans.
@raffels: I ship out to parris island on september 15th. So technically, no, im not a marine. Just a poolee (althought both of my grandfathers were in the corps, so I was kinda raised a marine brat)
@hollow_point: Yeah that's where I went to Bootcamp too
@raffels: awesome. When did you get your egas?
@hollow_point: uhh I'm not sure what egas is
@hollow_point: Oh its just called EGA not egas and I got mine in 2010
@raffels: my bad. Im not even a dumb boot yet, so I can somewhat get away with it...
@hollow_point: True:) and never forget that you'll always be a dumb boot until you make NCO or maybe a senior Lance Corporal lol but you don't want to be a Teminal Lance lol
@lesterlawton: Seriously?
Seriously. The point I was trying to make, is that comic culture (largely due to recent movies & tv shows) is highly accepted at this point. Wrestling? Not so much.
