Often, a professional athlete's greatness is not only measured by his skill in the sport he plays but by he performs in the clutch and how many tiles he can win in his career. So my question to you is... What pro athlete do you feel are of greatness but have won no championships ? They can be active or retired players

I would hate to be the guy that is always the example in these types of conversations. The poor millionnaire who was famous and was living his dream and had numerous shots at glory and never got it. Yikes

I dont think he is the greatest without a title. A Case could be made for Dan Marino and Ken Griffey Jr. as well

King Saturn says:

easy..cause they are not that great...I assume that by "great" you mean on a legendary scale...not every superstar...if it was every superstar you can jsut get all the all-star team members who don't have a ring and include them here...

as for Tracy McGrady..we'll file him under "superstar who has never one a playoff series" lol...

On a statistical level T-Mac would fit this category. Simply because his numbers are of a legendary staus. He has been in the NBA for 10 seasons and he has a career points average of 22.5 ppg

#32 Posted by Sling Shot (3560 posts) - 5 years, 26 days ago - Show Bio

Charles Barkley is another who should have gotten one.Mabe he could still get a boxing or MMA title? heh.
