Wait, a new Tales From The Crypt show?

I was so sure about this one when I posted it in the list. Someone on comic vine posted some info about Tales from the Crypt reboot a while ago, so I didn't gave it any thought when I included it to the list, my apologies. The problem is, there're no follow ups on the project after 2011. So the project is either dead, or in a dead halt. I'm removing it from the list.

Stephen King's Under the Dome is getting a TV series.

@deadite: What is Under the Dome about?

It's related to an apocalyptic theme. It's about a small town near Castle Rock (fictional), Maine being sealed off by an invisible dome. They're cut off, from everything, and it's about how the main characters dealt with the situation. The town became an interesting place to be.

The antagonist in the novel was really good. I want Alec Baldwin to play the part because he's who I pictured for the role when I read the book (:<

The Shield series seems interesting, especially since Joss Whedon is supposed to be directing it.

I didn't know there're novels for Strain. Do you know which came first, the novel or the comics? How's the writing on the story?

I didn't include Bates Motel because I thought it already hit the screen. Also, I did a quick search on the internet, there's a article on Feb, 2013 that says Chew (Image comics) TV show is not happening. I'll look further into the web later.

@deadite: The Strain was originally a Trilogy by Chuck Hogan and Guillmellro ( I tried) Del Toro

Its pretty epic I've read all 3 books hand have the second one "The Fall" singned by Del Toro.

And I've been stuck in a boarding school for a few weeks so I have no Idea If Hannibal or Bates is on TV.

I'll put the trilogy in my book ordering list. It seems like an interesting series.

Yeah, I just checked, Bates Motel is definitely being aired. It's on its 3rd episode. A total of 7 episodes.

Now we have Hannibal and Bates Motel joining other Horror tv series like The Walking Dead, American Horror Story's TV series. I don't think horror fans has been taking cared of, with good running series, since forever ago.

I'm hoping the Bates Motel is doing good. I want to read some reviews before I watched it.

Has anyone else herd anything about the HBO Neil Gaiman's Americans Gods series? Is that dead in the water, or did Game of Thrones breathed new life in the franchise?

@deadite: I can't get into the second season of American Horror Story

Why? I think it surpassed Season 1. Is it because of the biblical elements?

@deadite: Partly because of the fact I'm in a boarding school so I only see a select few, but the ones I've seen were just to weird like Aliens and Demon Nuns. I was confused.

The seemingly alien encounter are kinda scrambly with the story, I guess. But with the location being an asylum, It doesn't really bother me that they crammed so many elements into the setting.

Too bad you had to skip episodes.
