For me, its Naruto. Avatar is a GREAT show, but I don't really have a desire to watch it again like I do with Naruto (not counting all the lame filler arcs)
The Odyssey is still an epic and Telemachus and Odysseus are both crying a lot - showing emotion isn't necessarily a bad thing - at least when it isn't a dominate factor within the narrative.
Avatar has a way better character driven plot. Naruto has great characterization, but the show is hampered by recycled character angles and frankly, Kishimoto is scripting the manga as he goes along.
Naruto is more emotional. Anyone who watches it cries.
That's because everyone who watches it, from my experience, are either maudlin, or teenaged girls who also cry at Justin Bieber. >_> I have horrible experiences with anime fans.
Naruto easily. I wonder if people who even give feedback on this thread are kept up with both shows.....
Do you just say that because other people seem to be nearly unanimous in preferring Avatar instead of Naruto? Personally, I've watched both, and can't stand Naruto.
When your fights take several episodes, then you're doing something wrong. (Unless you are Dragonball Z)
I watched the beginning of Naruto, a bit. The first major fight involving them protecting someone building a bridge? Took damn forever. The win goes to Avatar.
