Out of these shows, which should I begin watching first? :

  • The Sopranos - Considered best Television Show-- considered better than THE WIRE
  • Sons of Anarchy - I love the setup
  • Homeland - I dunno, Claire Danes?
  • Entourage - My bro used to watch it and it was quite good
  • Mad Men - It is apparently more than men in suits lounging around for episodes

Please help... I just finished Breaking Bad and my soul is empty. Also, I need shows that I can actually TELL people that I've watched. Right now the list that I tell people is:

  • The Walking Dead
  • LOST
  • Breaking Bad
  • Prison Break

I've watched more but as I mentioned, they aren't shows that I like to mention to people :P

  1. The Walking Dead
  2. The Sopranos
  3. LOST

Prison Break isn't perfect, especially after season 1.

I stop watching Mad Man after they went on to a family route cliche. I probably followed it for 4 seasons.

Breaking Bad is different from The Sopranos. And to me, it's not the kind of difference I'm interested in. The whole family from the show drove me nuts while I was watching it. I only watched 4 or 5 episodes.

Sons of Anarchy is my favorite thing on that list. The cast alone is worth the watch (it also has a great progressive storyline with fun characters)

Everybody here has NO idea what they are talking about. Its Sopranos by a mile. Now everybody go to your rooms and think about what you've done.

Homeland. It's an awesome morally grey, political drama/thriller about terrorism. It also has an interesting family drama dynamic to it.

Watch Twin Peaks instead.

I would start with the ones that are still going on, so you can catch up and be able to talk about what's going on as it's going on. If the show has ended, it's easier to take your time.

Id say go for the show with the most episodes or is completed already. And then go down the list, all of them seem like good shows.
