#6 Posted by DH69 (4258 posts) - - Show Bio

Is it good or bad that i havent heard of half of those places.

The only one I've ever been to was Johnny Rockets and they wouldn't serve me cause I'm black.

Joking, joking, it was a great time

"Good", according to InnerSuperman. lol

I forgot to add this. Also, I have never been to this place. Is it any good?

I don't think we have any of them in the U.K.

If I may ask, what are the popular restaurant chains in Britain?

#11 Posted by ArturoCalaKayVee (11091 posts) - - Show Bio

Where is that "all" option? I love so many of those places :')

...Except Olive Garden. I hate that place.

#12 Edited by Edamame (27963 posts) - - Show Bio

@arturocalakayvee: lol Yeah, I forgot to put in that choice. :)

I actually agree with you on Olive Garden. It isn't horrible, but it never really impressed me that much. *shrugs*

cracker barrel is very good. its part restaurant and part general store

@edamame: Are these like, "sit down at a table with a knife and fork" sort of places, not fast food?

If so, there's Wetherspoons, Toby Carvery, Brewers Fayre, Harry Ramsdens, Little Chef. There's probably loads more, but I don't eat out a lot, so I'm not sure what else there is.

Any other Brits know any?

They're all pretty alright, guilty pleasures. Haven't been to PF Changs enough (only have been once or twice for happy hour), Olive Garden is meh (but the breadsticks are good), Uno has killer pizza (but like everything else on here, the food is awful for you).

I'll go with Red Lobster. Seafood is fresh, usually tasty, not too decadent but still delicious, plus those biscuits, man.

#16 Posted by JJ62 (1299 posts) - - Show Bio

Dang, I like most of those.

But In-N-Out all the way!

#17 Posted by M3th (2037 posts) - - Show Bio

I've only ate at CA Pizza Kitchen, Ah plebes(Applebees), and Olive Garden. I personally like all 3 most of the time. I think it depends on the chef. I been to some places where those chains sucked and I've had good meals on others so I dunno.

Is there CA Pizza Kitchen's outside of CA?

They do have good bread sticks though, other than that..just not my cup o' tea.

Yep, it's a nation-wide chain as far as I know. I have a few out here in New York.

Besides the fact that we don't have any of those here. But i prefer just small random restaurants, you never quite know what you'll get (food, service, quality wise etc)

Only ones here are Olive Garden (somewhere around here) and Red Lobster and I don't eat at either one so it's both home and write in : Tim Hortons

Oh, either or. Those look like some interesting choices, though.

This is true.

Cool. I'll have to check it out one of these days.

Yup, there are other states that have it as well. Massachusetts, Kansas, Utah, etc.

#25 Posted by mikethekiller (8310 posts) - - Show Bio

#26 Edited by ShadowX (1214 posts) - - Show Bio

Out of these... Unos... red lobster second.

Out of all these I actually don't eat nor heard of these places before lol. Usually I get fast food but Applebee's is awesome with their appetizers. =D

#30 Posted by Jorgevy (5114 posts) - - Show Bio

I have none of these in my country so i just went with the funniest one, Red Lobster

#31 Posted by kuonphobos (4882 posts) - - Show Bio

Of all your options Red Lobster used to be but they have now priced me out. Olive Garden because they have a nice lasagna for a nice price.

Only know Red Lobster and Olive Garden. Never eaten at them though. I usually either eat at home, or go to like.... McDonalds. Mostly for the coffee.

Canada also has a lot of Tim Hortons, right? I remember seeing a lot of them when I was in Nova Scotia.

Yeah, they're everywhere. Can't drive five minutes without passing a few.
