which of smallville or the walking dead is better? (T.V show)

Smallville...although this might be nostalgia talking, I used to LOVE that show.

Walking Dead as Smallville was poor.

Smallville made its share of pissing me a lot. Thankfully I skipped that godawful finale.

I haven't seen Waking Dead nor do I have intent to... I don't see a point on investing in these characters and wait for them to die.

Both shows are great and very different...both are based on comics, both have SOME changes to it.

Overall, I'd go with Smallville because it was something "new and fresh" for once being a Superman and DC fan, I liked it. wasn't the typical "Superman in Metropolis fighting Luthor and typical same bad guys" it was HOW he became Superman and what it was like before that. Which I found really cool. And 10 years? Yeah, not many shows last NEARLY that long much less lucky if they get past 2 or 3 these days max...

Walking Dead while great in it's own right merely timed it right with the "zombie trend" right now, the characters imo are what make the show great, otherwise typical Zombie apocalypse gig...been done far too much imo.

I don't understand people's beef with Smallville, it was a different interpretation and god knows there's been TONS of various Superman stories in comics historically speaking....10 years is a serious feat, period. Talk to me when a Marvel show or WD breaks that...

Now you want going in BAD direction show or disappointing ending? Take Heroes and even worse LOST...

Smallville, though I never did see the last 3 seasons. TWD was boring in my opinion.

@DarkKnightDetective, eh not really lol. Besides, if you never saw one show how can you judge? lol Batman fan much eh? :P

Overall, Smallville fixed everything that was altered from the REAL Jimmy Olsen that came to be to Lex not knowing who Clark is by the series end. I think they ended it very well considering budget issues...

This. The first season of Walking Dead was breathtaking but the second was a little dull and dragged on.

Walking Dead

Never seen a single episode of Walking Dead do to my abject hatred of the entire zombie genre.

I like them equally. But I have only seen Smallville up to season 7.
