Which Elder Scrolls Game Is the Best?
Pretty sure most will say Skyrim, given the reaction it's gotten.
I've yet to play it (I know, I know).
Skyrim is nice, however the way I see it is from the last game.Pretty sure most will say Skyrim, given the reaction it's gotten.

Modded Skyrim >Modded Oblivion> Vanillia Skyrim >Vanilla Oblivion
Morrowind had more story, and more diversity to it. Although the fighting sucks.
Basing on the year the games are released I would have to say Morrowind for me. It really was the most emphatic IMO. Though I haven't played Arena. Some of my friends say it is the best. But I think it's only nostalgia for them.
Although if one would ask me to play the older games after my playthrough with modded Skyrim, I would have to say no. I've already tasted the good graphics of current gen. I ain't going back!
The great thing about the Elder Scrolls games is that Bethesda has made each one significantly better than the last.
Morrowind was leagues above Daggerfall, Oblivion was leagues above Morrowind, and Skyrim is leagues above Oblivion.
True, although you have some die hard fans that say they have taken a lot more from each game. The great thing about the Elder Scrolls games is that Bethesda has made each one significantly better than the last.

Indeed, Morrowind was the greatest thing for me until I played Oblivion.
Skyrim is better than Oblivion. I can't speak for the other Elder Scrolls games because I haven't played them. After seeing gameplay for Morrowind for the first time about a month ago, I don't think I can go back that far.

They would have the wow factor like Oblviion, and Skyrim would those days. Like " Wow, this games graphics are so amazing, and the story too!" lol
I've only played Skyrim. Curious about Oblivion, though.
Oblivion sucked to me...but hold on that was due to lack of imagination and patience. 2nd time I played it is what got me into Heavy RPGS like these. Oblivion at the time was absolutely amazing and was able to eat up time very quick due to how fun and adventurous it was.Its DLC was fun especially the one with Sheogorath as I thought he was a great character and out of the ordinary from most oblivion characters. I can go into more detail but I'll stop here. Now Skyrim set the bar for most games.Skyrim was one of those games where if you enjoyed Oblivion then Skyrim would be just as if not more of a fun and adventurous game. The story behind is was great and liked the detail they put into it from the landscape to the weapons.I put so much time into Skyrim that I thought I broke the game but yet I can always come back to it especially with (Spongebob's Voice): Imagination. For example me pretending I was actually Batman(only using H2H,Nightingale Armor as the Batsuit,Thieves Guild as Wayne Enterprise,Dark Brotherhood as League of Assassins, etc.)Like I said I can go more into it but I'll leave as undecided but a bit more towards Skyrim as I enjoyed both of them to its fullest and yet still would but just Skyrim I'm more use to as of now.I never played the other games and wished I did but these are just my thoughts :)
