It is a broad question, but whatever. If need be, state the region of that country.

@inferiorego: Europe has higher taxes than America and it is harder to find a job in Europe than in America.  However, otherwise they have free healthcare and other free stuff so yeah.        %Pr

@cracks: my buddies in Denmark pay roughly 50% on their taxes, but their lives just seem so relaxing. The government pays for college, living expenses during that time, health care and they work a crap job 10-20 hours a week for "fun money." They are constantly traveling too. I'm incredibly jealous.

@inferiorego: True. But overall prices of "things" in general are higher in Europe than in America.  Furthermore, it is easier to find a job in America than in Europe.                 %Pr

@cracks: I don't know about that last statement. All my buddies out in Europe have jobs, and many of my friends here (all with college degrees) can't even flip burgers. It may just be the midwest though.

@inferiorego: Where in the Midwest are you from, if I may ask? If you don't want to answer then it is okay.  Also, you don't need a college degree to flip burgers, but eventually you might since the bachelor's degree is the new high school diploma.

@cracks: Chicagoland. I'm just saying, they all have college degrees and can't even get a job flipping burgers. It's a whole lot worse in Detroit though. I had a buddy move back to Chi when unemployment hit 30%

@inferiorego: I am curious. Can college degrees help you get jobs like flipping burgers? Can it help you in competition with the people who only have high school diplomas?

@inferiorego: True. However, the employer would probably no think highly of you if you lower your "standards" ( I don't agree with the term) and get a job that has nothing to do with your field of concentration in college.      %Pr

Puerto Rico (upper class). I was there last spring, the "college" kids literally do NOTHING but smoke blunts and drink beer and drive around to beaches and islands. It was a ridiculously relaxed, carefree area.

If you're in high school, don't worry about it. School is more important at that age.

why? i live in toronto and as much as stressful things happens in many aspects of our lives, it is essentially up to us to let it bothers us or not, remember an action will create an reaction, you must choose that reaction, life as it seems stressful it is challenging and entertaining as long as you have people to share it with

Okay. Wouldn't that mean that every country in the world is equally as stressful, because the amount of "stress" relative to each person is subjective and down to their own decisions? I'm a little confused by your post.

I was just saying in my first post that I don't think Canada, if you looked at the nation as a whole, would have the least stressful lifestyle. I mean, nations share a lot of it's problems common with eachother......it's not like Canada is much different, in my opinion.

that was exactly what i meant, it doesn't matter where you go b/c where ever you go you are taking your same mental attitude as well as same problems with you, having employment, recession, relationship with personal and family issue is still gonna be present in any location altho it is possible to for the new location create an immediate dstraction from regular life issues but soon the reality will kick in
