If they are going to continue with the Fallout series, what location do you think they should use next? I myseld think they should go with the Common wealth, Texas, Arkansa, Alahbama, etc.
"I got Fallout 3...but I never played much of it. I've got as far as leaving the Vault and getting to the next "town". I talked to some people then I got bored...have not played the game since. I have a question. Is the game mostly wandering around talking to people for info...is there any action? "
It's a mix. The talking part is how you get quest. Almost like any sorta rpg type game. Some one ask you to retrieve such and such item or resuce so and so, etc and then you go there you fight off mutants, ghouls, raiders, etc.
Where would you like to see Fallout located in the next game if they make one?
That's a hard one. One of the main reasons I bought Fallout 3 was being of The Pitt DLC. Pittsburgh is my hometown...so I thought that was pretty cool.
Maybe like the north pole or antarctica.

They are probably the same, plus there is nothing there. Was thinking perhaps China? Seeing how China was the one America went to war with.

They could go with another country, I was thinking they should do one with China. To see what China looked like, being as they were the one's that dropped the nukes on us.
@OmegaDynasty: lol true but a good climbing mechanic could make the destruction actuly quite fun. Mix in a bit of parkor like Miror's edge with the already killer VATS set up would make for some awsome playability. The ruins of such a large place hightening the insanity :D
I always wondered that about the rest of the world, we know large portions of the US were nuked, but what about other nations, were they spared the nuclear fire like Vegas? Or where they left in ruin like Pittsburgh and DC. I think playing in China or possibly Russia would be interesting. I didn't get into Fallout until Fallout 3 and I really enjoyed the Operation: Anchorage DLC I would look forward to a game like that where you are playing through parts of the war, or maybe the aftermath with the Brotherhood of Steel vs the NCR or the rise of the Enclave.

Perhaps if it was going to be the last game they should make it where you would start out in America a new state possibly one next to the Pacific or Atlantic Ocean. Then you could build a ship or hijack one and explore multiple places around the world. Like Amsterdam.
@OmegaDynasty: I guess, but keeping with how the world looks I would say it would be hard to find a ship that is in good enough shape to cross the Atlantic or Pacific. More likely anything that was in good shape would have been scraped for dwelling or converted like Rivet City.
NYC. Plenty of monuments and recognizable places that could strike a chord just as strongly as the Capital Wasteland did. I am, however, an opponent of taking it outside of U.S. borders. Wouldn't feel the same given the sudden culture change that would ensue.
all those would be good, but I wanna see canada in the next fallout game, USA annexed it for resources and was the frontline as well as alaska during the war, I think it would be cool to see descendants of both factions from the war, also the lush wilderness would be nice as well as some brand new mutated creatures, maybe even a new canadian faction. i think it would be amazing.
Cool topic, there would be some really good locations that would be a lot of fun....I would love to see somewhere that has a lot of water, or maybe a island area. If not that I think somewhere like either London(to include surrounding areas through like Scotland so we could see a Fallout version of Nessy)....or for off the wall idea would be Egypt, they could turn some of the Pyramids into either Vaults or cities...
