Where do you lie on the political spectrum?

I don't use the left-right spectrum, since it's too broad to be useful and what counts for being conservative/liberal differs depending on the country.

I do not bother to vote because I know that in my state it will never matter.

At the local level it is just who has the most friends and connections.

At the state level it is practically the same thing.

For president my vote will not matter because my state will always be the side it is and will never chance.

I live in a small town where our legal system is a running joke to everywhere else around us.

I identify closest to Libertarian. Or so I am told. I haven't really looked into them too much since no Libertarian will hold office in the next 20 years. I personally do not identify with any political party.

I dunno when it comes to certain topics, I take the middle ground, like topics on Gun control, or the economy, or Euthanasia., or private property, etc etc. I see and understand the views on both sides, however I lean liberal slightly ( picture this: if the were a number line from -1 to 1 ( liberal to conservative) I'd lean on possibly -.50 or -.25).

And i will say there are plenty of conservative on here. From what I've seen.

@comicace3: yes, that's libertarian, but those issues alone don't determine your politics. Bill Maher is a libertarian and he's pretty far left. No side has the market cornered on liking freedom.

Even though I don't consider myself any of the above, I am told that I would be considered a liberal for the most part.

Why is there a choice for socially conservative and financially liberal but not the other way around?

Don't associate with any party, don't like our system but ain't nothing I can do about it. Politicians lie on the political spectrum and that's it's biggest problem.

I'm mostly libertarian but me and other libertarians differ sometimes
