When is killing the right thing to do?

When do you think taking another persons life is the right thing to do?

When do you think it's the most sensible thing to do?

When is it okay to kill?

Just curious what your thoughts are on killing.

When it's done with the legal process of the State.

When there is no way to prevent him from killing you or others

Sorry. Um, the Bible says "Do not Murder". So self defense, protecting your loved ones, things like that.

Killing is bad. Try to refrain from it unless it's a last resort.

It is bad but I guess it's okay... When you're defending your life.

If it's the last option you got for defending your life.

Is your life in danger? Is the life of somebody else in danger? Would attacking the source of this danger protect your life or that of other innocent parties? If so, then it is fine to kill the source of danger.

Also in the bigger picture, if society/the state deems a person guilty of crimes and does not offer rehabilitation, I don't see an issue with execution.

It shouldn't be a right thing.

When the lives of the people I care about are at risk.

When I do it.

When you have no other choice. As in, if you don't kill, you or your family or other people will die. Or if you're in the military in a battle.

In defense of your person, the safety and lives of others, and defending your home and property, with equal force you are facing.

Self defense or defense of friends or family.

Or combat.

In my experience if it's between me or the other guy, I'm going home to my wife, and I'm going to do everything to make sure my comrades go home to their families. I may not like it, and it may be hard to get over, but I am going home.

Only time is if it's someone as heartless as Hitler or the daleks
