When did CN go downhill for you? I'd say it went downhill in 2005.
When did Cartoon Network go downhill?
@fallschirmjager: lololol
@joshmightbe: What genius logic!
@wolfrazer: Kind of like if they hired someone who hated sports to run ESPN
@joshmightbe: When this same douche cancelled Toonnami.
@ultrastarkiller: He had to make room for Mythbusters Junior and that show where the one hit wonder former rock star blew s**t up. I know the first was actually called Dude What would Happen but that was one of the dumbest names for a TV show ever and it basically was Mythbusters Junior, dumbass edition.
@the_stegman: So, 2005 then?
When Ben 10 entered the scene.
you suck
It started when they moved Toonami to one a week. Cartoon Network was beyond saving when they cancelled it
Oh, and when Ben 10 entered the scene. I hate that show.

Something that is amazing is how many people blame Ben 10, even when the reason it was such a huge hit is for the fact Cartoon Network and all this networks sucking, Ben 10 is the best succesful cartoon of an era, Toonami was never that important.
They start going down the hill at some point of 2004 or 2003, you know when they take out all their shows and became The PowerPuff Girls Network, not so many people remember they kicked out all the cartoon they had and they keep them, they even give them a movie, even Dexters Lab got kicked out, every time they had a good cartoon, they keep pushing The PowerPuff Girls over those cartoons, not only that it became obvious they pushed the worst cartoons they had, when many became hits, it was not because of Cartooon Network but besides Cartoon Network.
The best exmaple Billy and Mandy were never pushed as hard as KND, even after the fact Billy and Mandy aged better that KND that with Foster are the best example of show that got old really fast.
JL and Teen Titans also caused a negative impact in the Network, lets be honest they build an image that no cartoon has lived today, the fact they bring back Teen Titans and plan to bring back JL too, show you the negeative impact they had.
Amazingly many people complaint when Cartoon Network decide go against what every single other children network was doing and put The Misadventure of Flapjack on air, it never became a huge hit, but it gain enough fans to notice people hated the way they were doing things, then they made Adventure Time that is pretty much a sequel and a Regular Show, people behind this ones actually were in Cartoon Network before it sucked, unamazingly those became huge hits.
Saddly they decide to keep this shows as their only show going on that line.
Even MAD say the network they are in sucks and there is no way they could be the best product they could air.

Not as much as Ben 10
When the did their first non animated Movie and Tv show Re-Animated
And then came CN Real (which thankfully failed). They started to rebound with shows like Adventure Time and Regular Show. They also brought back Toonami and Cartoon Planet. But they're slowly going back down the crapper due to their hate boner for action shows (the cancellations of Young Justice, Green Lantern, Beware the Batman, and Thundercats) and god awful shows like Uncle Grandpa, Johnny Test and Annoying Orange.

True. But then Cartoon Network picked it up and it's been bogging down CN ever since.

Like I said before, Stuart Synder and the rest of the executives have a huge hate boner for action shows as of late. The fact that freaking Batman of all people is getting his show cancelled should say something.
@allstarsuperman: it's true man, think about it. Ben 10 came out in 2005, most of the good shows had ended or were ending by then. Now, now we have madness...I did like Alien Force though.
@opelfl9201: yes, 2005 is when the fall began in earnest

I didn't watch a whole lot of there older shows. I like Ben 10, young justice, and the older superheros like Justice League. Omniverse is all I watch anymore, and I will admit its the bottom of all things ben 10.

I loved the original Ben 10 but I just couldn't get into Alien Force. It was just boring to me.
@black_claw: *Cries into your shoulder*
I LIKED BATMAN D':

It gets better, you should still watch it. Alien Force lost the a lot of the action and humor, but it got a lot of plot and character development.

Eh, I liked Young Justice better, but I still feel your pain man *cries with you*
@black_claw: WHY!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN YOU WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That because those shows are under the wing of people who did The Misadventure of Flapjack, this people did Chowder and Gravity Falls too, the director was the same director that Johnny Bravo, that had Seth MacFarlane and Butch Hartman.
So its not a shock Adventure Time, Regular Show, MacFarlane, Hartman and Gravity Falls becem huge hits, they got the magic of the classic and good Cartoon Network.
It didn't, we just grew up
Exactly.
@russellmania77: exactly!
It didn't...
Adventure Time
Regular Show
Amazing World Of Gumball
Steven Universe
All examples of great and current shows on cartoonnetwork.
R u 12?
When they pulled the plug on Green Lantern: Animated Series :'(
Batman is next,Teen Titans looks like it'll be a mainstay for a little while.
@jeanralphio: no.
Are you implying that only 12 year olds can enjoy quality cartoons?
When they canceled Green Lantern TAS and Young Justice.
But even before that. When they started to care more about how much merchandise a show could sell instead of its quality.
When Ben 10 entered the scene.
you suck
I knew if anyone was going to be pissed it was going to be you LoL
