What's your favorite video game series?

I've been enjoying the Metal gear series way too much, lately.

Assassin's Creed.

Pokemon. And I'm just getting into GOW.

Need For Speed series.

Sonic

Kingdom Hearts

Mass Effect

Final Fantasy

Batman

Legend Of Zelda

My favorite is either the Tales series or the Persona series. Probably the Tales series because I've played more of it. Tales of Vesperia, Tales of Symphonia, Persona 3 FES, and Persona 4 are JRPG gold.

GTA.

But....but there's so many!

Silent Hill, Dynasty Warriors, Tenchu, Sims, Tony Hawk, GTA, Res Evil, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Dark Souls, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Left4Dead, Dead Rising are the ones that spring to mind. Can't narrow it down more and am definitely forgetting a ton of them.

These comments made me realize how many I skipped. Should have done more research before posting it, or not have made it a poll. But oh well.

I'm not gonna respond to everything since there's no point to respond to all of them, but just a few I'll respond to:

Mario is on there. It's between Madden & Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

That would count under WWE.

There's Deus Ex, Deus Ex: Invisible War, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Deus Ex: The Fall (though that probably doesn't count). So yes, it is a series.

Xcom is the only strategy on this list? Most disappointing...

Metal Gear, followed swiftly by Assassin's Creed. If you don't come close to tearing up towards the endings for the MG games, then you have no heart.

Suprisingly easy to answer, Baldurs Gate! (Throne Of Bhaal specifically), second favorite is Planescape: Torment, it's past that when it starts getting really hard to rank them - there's just few games remotely close to my top 2.
