Whats the point of camping out?

Like I've never done it(and probably never will), nor have I ever gone black Friday shopping(and probably never will) but I've always wondered what does camping out do? Whats stopping someone from just getting there as soon as the store opens and just walking in?

People will do whatever they want to do.

I thought this was going to be about real camping, which I love, and not camping for stores to open. I have nothing to add to that conversation.

Some people are desperate, pathetic little people who need to be the first to do something in order to validate their sad lives.

Others are just smart folks who have found an excuse for ditching their families on Thanksgiving.

I think camping out is stupid, it can't be that great to wait for. When in doubt go to ebay! Everything can be just as good quality and maybe a bit cheaper or just a little more expensive if you buy stuff from ebay.

I won't lie. I did it when I was younger for concert tickets to see an all boy band (who will remain unidentified). Another time with my brother outside a Walmart for some gaming system I can't remember because he had no choice but to bring me since my parents were away. Outside of those times, nope.

I dont see the point of buying anything on Black Friday, u can just run out with stuff and no one will notice
