It's funny - when I was a kid I wondered what the difference was between democrats and republicans. Today, I still wonder what it is, because as far as I'm concerned, they're the same thing just with different names.
Thing I'm looking forward to the most about the break will be the f*cking sleep. It's always the same up here; it never matters how tired my body/mind is as the other one dictates if I can actually sleep or not. F*ck these finals, man. Back home I can actually sleep whenever I want to, and I'm not dictated by my body's dumb flippant rules on the matter. Like, right now, I'm so tired physically that my eyes hurt, but mentally every little movement is an explosion of thought and concern. Every breath sucks in more theory and conundrum while the rest of me is faint and retiring.
This thread isn't interesting in the slightest without Wolverine and MonsterStomp. Why doesn't anyone communicate in this thread?.... It's just random post after random post. Gah... bugs me.
Been binge playing Metal Gear yesterday - I think I'm addicted O_O Cure me.

Aww, well... happens to all of us - I'm almost completed MGS, then I'm moving onto MGS2 (which I've played before) - I've played almost every single Metal Gear game so I'm replaying them to prep for TPP and just to become more knowledgeable about the series and have a good time.

I've played the main four games, the MSX games, and Rising. I haven't played Peace Walker, Portable Ops, or Ground Zeros yet. It all started because near the end of the summer, I finally decided to go to this store I found out about from a friend who collects a lot of classic consoles and games and got my PS2 fixed so I could play MGS2 and MGS3 again since it's been so long since I played them, and then all of a sudden I found myself replaying the first game and now I'm currently playing MGS2. I got through the Tanker but not the Plant because then summer ended and I had to cut back on it.
And yes, I plan on playing Phantom Pain as well. I don't know if I need to play Ground Zeros first, though. I hope I don't. Or at least, I hope it comes with it in some way.
The ones I've completed are MGS2, MGS3, MGS4, and MGS: Ground Zeroes - although I'm now over halfway through MGS1 - so I like to think I know a good chunk of Metal Gear :) Now, Ground Zeroes... I recommend that, if you finish up with all your work or anything of the sort, and if you're free... you should at least rent the game and give it a go. I wrote a review, actually:
