My grandfather committed suicide before I was born leaving my grandmother to raise 9 children alone. For a long time I have harbored a sense of resentment against him but recently come to the conclusion I don't have enough facts to justify these feelings.

Just be there for your friend and show them you care.

He always seemed extremely happy whenever he came over. He was really cool and we'd play FIFA together. He was the first true friend that my mom had made in a long time, she is extremely upset and has been crying at the table since she got home.

You know depression is sometimes hidden in a person's soul. They don't want other's to feel and know what they are going through. They usually keep to themselves, thinking the pain will eventually go away, but then think to themselves that life is not worth living another day. They ask themselves what do i have to lose?? What is the purpose of staying on this earth another day??... They they reach that point in which they have the decision of toughing it out or committing suicide.. Luckily my mind didn't go that deep that my depression would take me over the edge...
