I guess I can sort of understand why the joke was considered offensive. While it was never meant to be mean spirited or rude, not everyone is aware of the story surrounding the creation of the joke.
I'll make sure to reword the joke better next time avoiding the word "molesting" or another word in similar view, ^_^
The aliens that are acting like the colonial British Empire on crack are the good guys simply because they are more diverse than the solely human army.

I'm still not sold on these Marvel killing characters off deal to Spite Fox rumors. Marvel still owns the rights to said characters, and if the Fox movies do well, then it still leaves the potential for Marvel to get new readers and it boosts their own sales. It is similar to Marvel trying to change stuff to fit the films to attract new readers but they just don't get the movie profits, but can still boost sales via the comics. If Marvel kills off a character to spite Fox then they lose the profits for that character and still don't make any money because of the comics while Fox has decades of stories to pick from. Idk, maybe I'm wrong, but if Marvel is in the business to make money, which they are, then it comes off as hemorrhaging from both ends.
