I thought this might be interesting.

I'd say mine is my insecurity, as it manifests itself in multiple ways. It's in how overprotective I am of my girlfriend, it's in how hard it is for me to meet new people, basically it has little effects on most of my life. But I've learned to compensate for it, and fight back against it with logic and reason. Most of the time, lol.

So, what would you guys consider to be your biggest flaws or things you want to work on?

My biggest flaw is that I act rude towards people for no good reason. :/ No idea why.

Did anyone ever say to you that doing your best is not good enough? Just curious how you would respond. Do you mind if I ask this question?  LOL.  I personally find such responses to be inconsiderate.  Just my opinion though. Any thoughts?

@capall: Interesting answer, but isn't to be flawed to be human? Of course, I'm a bit of a pessimist, so my viewpoint is skewed, lol.

I have so many.....I would say my dependency on friends and my relationships with them.

Well, human beings are not robots, so we can't be perfect; especially not with everything. Some employers expect you to be though, which I find to be unfair, I guess. Just have to deal with it and give it your best.    *shrugs*

ofc, it's what ppl do however that ain't the reason why i answered what i said, it's siimply my own personal opinion and my own characteristics, i am a perfectionist so if i don't accomplish or achieve what i want then i'm not personally satisfied is all

@capall: Interesting.  I know people who are sort of perfectionist.  I admire their resilience and diligence, but I worry for them because they won't always succeed. I hope they don't take it too seriously.  No one can always succeed.  Just my opinion though.

I've always admired the amazing perseverance it takes to be a perfectionist. I just don't have the patience for it, as I give up too easily.

That is true.  Willpower is one of the most important things in life.  Not everyone has a strong willpower though.  Which, I guess, can be unfortunate.  Also, that is true. You can only learn by "failing" or getting something wrong.  Patience is also very important.  Learning never ends though. So, for me, I say to myself that I shouldn't just give up because I failed at something.  I will always keep trying, no matter what.

Yeah. I wonder if laziness is human nature. Do you think so?  Also, I agree that perseverance is laudable.  No matter how "poorly" I perform on something, I will keep trying again and again, but I would do it in a healthy manner.

I do think that laziness is just as much human nature as anything else. I believe that we're capable of having both positive and negative traits to our personalities, and that no one person has nothing but positive traits. I think that it's the juxtaposition of the positive and negative that make people who they are, and make them truly interesting. I know I wouldn't be who I am without my insecurities, and for better or worse, I like who I am.

Yes, I see that all the time. While I don't believe that it's possible to always be perfect, I think people can rise to the occasion when they need to and accomplish that temporary perfection that life asks of them.

That's true. We always have to learn how to adapt. "Temporary perfection" is something that I think sounds like an interesting term.

My insecurtity and how people see me. Im too worried on this. Sadly, simply knowing doesnt fix the problem. I can also be rather cold-hearted and selfish/greedy. You know the earthquake that hit Haiti? Could care less. I didnt donate a penny towards their relief fund. And many times I dont want to let any of my cousins in my room or let them play with my stuff. Again, just because I know Im selfish/greedy, doesnt mean I can fix said problem.
