I would beat up the biggest, most muscled, dumb badass there would be in the prison. Then, everyone would respect me. I would be the boss of the prison. And so, i would live a long, happy life as the main bad ass of the prison.

The first thing you're supposed to do is find a group and kiss their asses to let you in so they protect you. Anything else, you do second.

I would use the facilities to train my body to peak human capacity, befriend some of the inmates who obviously have experience in fighting, have them train me, then I would slowly take over the prison as it's King Pin. The prisoners will fear me, the guards will respect me, and the sheriff will bow to me. Then, when I am released, I will use the trades I have learned to take out crime as a masked vigilante.

I'd get sent to isolation on purpose so I don't have to share my bed.

Prison isn't usually how it's shown in the movies. Prison is about unbearable loneliness and boredom. A life in prison is a fate worse than death.

I think I'd be ok. I read that prison rapes don't really happen a lot, and a lot of prison sex is consensual. That's the worst part taken care of right there.

I'd be fine with the food and sleeping arrangements I'm sure, I am not too needy or picky. I would probably spend all my time reading and thinking of how to escape, if my sentence was long.

The only real trouble is violence.

Provincial Jail, im pretty much screwed. Particularly in Alberta, they are rotten, underfunded, old crap houses. Fortunately, the whole "prison biatch" thing doesnt happen so much in Canada (mainly between minority inmates), but instead, you have all the druggies, murderers, rapists, and general arseholes all grouped in one place. One provincial jail, Drumheller, is soo bad that they have never been not on lockdown for longer then 3 months since 2007.

Federal Jail. I'll be ok. They give you video games, good food, cigarettes, horse riding lessons, indoor pools, the whole nine yards.
