What would you do if you were locked in an elevator for 40 hours?

I'd probably take my clothes off (it'd be hot) and try to get reception or wi-fi on my phone to call for help. Press the emergency call button on the elevator obviously. Maybe time how long I can hold my pee without needing to...y'know, answer nature's call.

Probably try to get out somehow, failing that id just sit down and wait.. 40 houres isnt very long, and yes I know.

I think people just have social issues if they cant handle it, or maybe I do.

Well maybe,I mean not for the whole 40 hours that sounds impossible and painful.If I was really bored and I mean its not going anywhere.

Id try to find a way out and whatnot first.

Pray to God that I don't de-hydrate quickly. Sleep happens whenever I have nothing to do so I'd fall asleep and keep trying to stay asleep in there until the calvary comes.

Sometimes it's really hard being a guy with time to waste.

Hopefully I'd have my Kindle on me. Read for 40 hours. I almost never go anywhere without a bottle of Pepsi or something. I don't get hungry that much. So if all them are possible, then I'm sorted.

Obviously I'd be locked in a elevator for 48 hours.

Imagine if you have a small bottle of sleeping pills with you. I'm not suggesting taking all of them, I'm suggesting sleeping through the 40 hours. I'm thinking maybe it'll slow the metabolism down enough. This will need more research. And there's also adult diapers. Hmm, I can see myself building an emergency kit for being confined in small spaces.

I'd wait...and sleep...split up any gum or candy bars anyone had on them, and pee in a corner...I'd try to hold in my deuces though.

Just an hour without electricity drives me to boredom...I don't wanna think what 40 hours would do...

I have a few books on my phone. I'll go sleep, i have an mp3 player i only use when working out but always on me. I'd be fine :) i don't get bored easily, and i can get lost in my imagination :)

I doubt I'd be driven to madness..... I'd have things to tell time on me so I would keep track of how many hours I was in there. If worse comes to worse, I'll poop in a corner and try to contain my piss seeing as I may need to drink it later. Now if it's for 3 days things get a little fuzzy....

I wouldn't be driven insane at all. Depending on the size of the elevator if it is to big I'd just sleep or meditate, too small I'd hyperventilate ( for a few minutes then I'd calm down). The little I do the less tired I'd be and the less water I'd need. But if I was in a hurry I'd try to find a way out...

I'd plan all the ways I'm going to sue the building owners. Leaving someone in an elevator for almost two days is completely unacceptable.
