What Would You Do If You Were Caught Cheating?

Blame it on the alcohol.

Not sure what I'd do (not sure anyone who's never been in that situation can claim to be), but probably other.

I wouldn't explain anything because I wouldn't cheat.

It's a hypothetical situation. It's assumed that you get caught, regardless of how discreet you think you'd be.

I'd use the situation as a catalyst for some amazing, angry make-up sex.

own up, if you're man enough to cheat, you're man enough to admit you cheated

I could never do it in the first place because if i felt like the relationship was that bad i'd leave.

Accept the grief//consequence that comes with it.

What I DID do when I WAS caught cheating was apologize and agree to go to couple's therapy because I made bad choices that was informed by dysfunction in our relationship. It wasn't just me. It was a lot less about her, but she still contributed to my terrible decision-making, and now we're more functional and more likely to talk things out before things get that incendiary again.

Own up to it, apologize, and try to work it out.

I got accused of cheating when I actually didn't one time though, so I just denied it but it took a while for her to finally believe me.
