So let's say you have the powers of superman. The government decides to incarcerate you and comes to arrest you at your house. What would you do? They are coming to incarcerate you because they believe you are too powerful to be free.
What would you do if the government came to arrest you
@batman1130: I would go with them to humor them. It would be cute.
It would be another hancock situation where I am basically hanging out there, to "follow the law" but it's not really a factor for me.
@batman1130: Assuming they were doing it simply to assert their dominance over me; I would simply ignore them. If they actually had kryptonite I would fight them until that was neutralized.
If you looked at my thread about the Marvel Civil War you would know I am not a fan of getting pushed around simply because people would want to own me.

@batman1130: Well then my response definitely has not changed! If we were in the marvel universe I would say something like I would do what Cap did, but as this is DC then I would go all Dark Knight Returns on their assess.
@batman1130: Oh well then I fly away, save the world, and tell them to leave me the hell alone
Sounds like a good time to try out my new solar flare power.
Remember. The flare leaves you weakened for a bit. That should be a trump card or something, but not you're go to move.

good point, could be two different scenarios. if it was a civil war situation and they wanted me to register to be a "hero" i would quit being a hero, then they lose a superman. I would then tell them I wish them all the best and good luck.
I'd switch to Batman then escape.
@w0nd: Well in Civil War they didn't really give people the option of simply stopping heroics if they didn't register. However if they did then I would do exactly what you did. Kick back on the moon the next time Zod or Doomsday show up. See how much registration matters then ;)
I'd switch to Batman then escape.
I would excercise my right to remain silent and ask for a lawyer. If they refused to provide me an attorney or violated any of my rights, then I would just fly away.
@redlantern2814: they didn't? lol thats even worse then. I thought they had the option to register, and not be a hero, or if they wanted to become a hero they had to go through the initiative training. Man that opens up a whole new level of hate for me now lol. Especially if I had a crappy power where I am pretty much doomed to die..
@w0nd: If you were powerful they let you off the hook, such as by offering treaties with people like Dr. Strange, but for the less intimidating individuals the Pro-Registration side was going with force. Luke Cage and Jessica Jones were confronted; with the former being on the run and the latter going to Canada with their child. Luke Cage even accurately compared the act to slavery; which is something many people overlook.
So yes the pro-registration side were power hungry douches through and through
@batman1130: As they dragged me away, I would yell: "I don't care what you do to me! I still think the royal family suck!"
@waezi2: even if you had the superpowers? If you had superman's powers you could flick one of them and they would get sent through a building lol
@batman1130: I'm an anti-patriot, not an anarchist;)
Well then Since the change if OP I would laugh in there's faces then fly To another world or country or whatever and next time Braniac doomsday , Zod , or anyone else comes I will not even lift a finger to help.

My boy!!!! I had the same thought when on The Flash people were complaining about how his private prison was illegal. Have Flash leave for a few weeks and let the police handle the meta's. See how long it takes them to be more appreciative of their heroes.
@ironspiderchan45: This.
@gokuss4z: Thanks
Mock them as they try. Seriously i would go about my daily business and make a point of the fact that they can't stop me. While this is happening the public will slowly exert pressure on them for wasting so many tax dollars on a futile effort. It will be especially fun when they try while I am busting up sex trafficking rings.

Damn it. I wanted to be the first one to respond intelligently.
@redlantern2814: good idea
@ms-lola: I think you have intelligence confused with supplication. Legally there is no law against being "powerful" and so any Government officials that tried to take you in based on those grounds; is attempting to kidnap you. So how does an intelligent person deal with an attempted kidnapping?
@batmanx2005 It's the only kind I have ;)
@redlantern2814: That's debatable. If you had it in you to destroy things based on your power, then it could be argued you are a threat to yourself and society and should be immediately placed into "protective" custody. This is AvX, pretty much.
