@sideburnguru: I mean the cell phone conversation Jeantel described on the stand. He certainly had time to consider his options.

Zimmerman claims he was struck in the face and knocked to the ground. The core of the matter is that at some point there was a struggle and Zimmerman ended up on the bottom. Unless he laid down on the ground of his own free will there are not a lot of other possibilities.

@lady_liberty: Like I, and others have said, she was everywhere with that.

Like I said though, I heard back of the head. No one exactly knows what happened. No one sadly will.

@sideburnguru: Her testimony wasn't good but it was the most favorable to Martian thus far.

So because we don't know what happened we should convict him? That doesn't seem fair.

Remember the state is going for 2nd degree murder. BUT at any time the judge or jury or prosecution can say: while we can't give him murder charges we can give him manslaughter. I doubt he walks free

Interesting. As much as I really hope he doesn't get away with it, and I'd hope there was some sort of social backlash or something if he was, I'd rather it not be of the violent kind that gets people hurt.

I personally think the law itself is a big problem. Maybe I'm ignorant, but it seems like a lot of stupid stuff has been happenign in Florida, involving people dying, and it all keeps coming back to this law.
