What was the scariest animated TV series you had seen whether you saw it when you were little or when you got older.

When I was little, I used to be scared of the "Beetlejuice" cartoon theme song because of the weird and scary imagery that kept popping up. Not to mention, the theme song really scared me at the time. But now, I actually found the theme song to be pretty cool!

I never really watched Courage the Cowardly Dog when I was little since I didn't really care for it at the time, but a few years back, I managed to watch an episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog on YouTube called "Freaky Fred" and the music that was playing throughout that episode really freaked me out!

When I was really small, there was a show called Little Bear. This one episode where he pissed off his dad would always scare me to death. Again, I was really small.

The music was probably the scariest part of that episode.

There was one episode of the Ghostbusters animated show...where this green demon like thing asked to be let into a kid's home...and then killed the kid or something.

I don't know, I don't really remember it, but it freaked me out a lot as a kid.

courage had some creepy as episodes

Courage was downright terrifying sometimes.

Also, when I was really little, I refused to watch any episode of the Powerpuff Girls that featured "Him," that creepy shape shifting demon thing.

My fear for the future of humanity increased exponentially when Annoying Orange proved popular enough for a second season, does that count? Its more existential terror tho.
