I have family out in Boston. When this terrible event happened, and even though these family members in question would rather eat they're own faces than spectate a marathon, I was really worried for them. Especially after the shoot-out, and the missing suspect. My aunt, in Boston, told my mom that they are in a degree of Martial Law. Home-owners are not even aloud to open their front doors right now.

However recently the parents of the two have stated that they were framed or something along those lines.

Yes, both the mom and the dad are claiming they're being framed.

They're speculating he could be injured, but again, they have no until they actually find him.

My sister lives in Boston and they are not allowed to leave at this point as the search for the second suspect that was driving. The one that got away. The one that didn't was shot yes but apparently he was strapped with explosives and with his finger on a dead man trigger, the other guy is supposed to be strapped with explosives too. One of my friends took a picture out of their window and the streets were completely deserted. It seriously looked like a ghost town.

I wonder how this will turn out. If it turns out to be true and they were framed, I would feel sorry for the brother that died.

But, until then, I'll be neutral on this. Sucks for the families that lost loved ones though.

Uh if they were framed why would they be throwing bombs out of their car windows at the cops while they were being perused? Or the one who was killed be strapped with explosives holding a dead man trigger? Even in the unlikely event that they were framed, they would still be up to something with all that. Plus their apartment in Cambridge was filled with explosives. I'm not sure if they have yet or not but they have to blow the apartment building because of how dangerous it would be to try and actually disarm/collect them. If someone is trying to frame them, they are doing an incredibly freaking amazing job at it lol.

@yourneighborhoodcomicgeek: It's only the father saying this, the mother is not. To me this is just the father not wanting to believe his sons would do these things, which obviously is understandable. But the Idea of them being blackmailed or framed for this is not the case. The idea of people who are blackmailed to do something they don't want to do is mostly a plot devise in fiction hardly ever in reality. Plus to have that many weapons and explosive devices at their place, and simply the fact that they know how to make explosives like that, it is not going to be the case that they were blackmailed or framed.

Dude, they threw bombs at the cops... I don't think that there is any doubt in anyone's minds that they are guilty. The survivor should have to face trial that I agree with. But when the older brother got out of the car he started firing at the cops, in that situation the cops have to fire back or they get shot themselves.

Update. They might have the younger brother cornered and they are planing on gassing him to have him pass out or come out. I hope the get him alive. That way we can possibly learn more about what happened, and more importantly why this happened.

Ok I saw Wolf Blitzer and the woman he's with actually have slight smiles of excitement on their faces briefly because they have a reporter who is literally down the street a few houses away from where there was gunfire and where they have the younger brother cornered and they got the gunfire on sound. I understand that it is your job to try and get this information first, but getting excited about a possible gun down, shoot out, or freaking explosions in a residential area is pretty f##ked up. Some times I genuinely hate reporters.

@judasnixon: A lot of people probably do. So at least you're not alone in that desire. Look at car crashes on the highway, there will be traffic even when the road is not obstructed at all simply because cars are slowing down at the spot to look.
