What movies have you seen that were just plain weird? My picks would be:
1. Monkeybone
2. The Nightmare Before Christmas
3. James and the Giant Peach
4. The Adventures of Baron Munchausen

@deadite: Son, I am disappoint. JOI DECREES THOU TO GO SEE WEIRDER MOVIES, because that one doesn't even friggin' count.
I know...but after all these years I always come back to it like looking at a demon. There's nothing wrong with it. It's just I can remember its effect on me. It has some kind of bizarre horror effect over me.
The film is so harmless, but the quick cut scenes and the insane chorus is really disorienting.
I imagine if people turn on the movie loud enough. I would still run out of the house then come back later to see what happened.
The Beatles: The Yellow Submarine
The whole movie is a experience of the beatles mind when they're on drugs
Oh yeah! I forgot about that movie!
Movie 43. foreal, anybody can make a crazy weird movie but to have the most famous actors on there is a different
I've seen some really weird movies. I'll try to name off a few.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
2001: A Space Odyssey--Never have that movie on for background noise. EVER!
Also, just about any obscure horror movie that comes FEARnet is bound to be bizarre. The same also applies to a lot of obscure movies that are on Netflix.
Any film by Terry Gilliam or David Lynch
Just a sample of David Lynch, don't watch if you like to sleep.
The Land Before Time III: The Time of the Great Giving
Dinosaurs can't talk haha. What a crazy weird movie. Plus half these dinosaurs were natural predators to each other and would have killed and eaten each other. Whoever made this movie was probably on some serious candy sweets - possibly mixed with malt biscuits. Haha seriously though, dinosaurs can't talk. English wasn't even invented yet. I hear if you watch it whilst acknowledging that you are Littlefoot and the rest of the dinosaurs are ghosts out to steal your mana the movie actually makes a whole lot more sense. I should try it sometime, might be the greatest movie ever to exist ever.

External Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was UBER weird.
Rubber. The movie about the killer tire.
The Human Centipede.
All most anything made by Takashi Miike. Izo, Gozu, Visitor Q, Ichi the Killer, Dead or Alive, Imprint, Audition, Sukiyaki Western Gjango...... That man is Bananas.....
Sucker Punch was weird.
@sc: Uhhh, it's clearly translated from Dinosaur language, duh. They just didn't want to have to subtitle it just in case anyone thought it was a foreign film. Besides, most people in Hollywood are natural enemies. Every movie made is a practice in them not killing and eating each other.
Eraserhead hands down. The entire movie there will be only one question on your mind and that question is "What the F is going on?"
This is the correct answer
@_slim_: Oh I loved Return to Oz!!!
I'm gonna say either The Naked Lunch, or John Dies At The End.
I love burroughs....
i see a lot of my favorite movies listed...(and some that i wouldnt say so)
Id go with Un Chien Andalous....so very weird...(its on youtube too) Id say its the weirdest but i like
way up there would be The Sweet Movie...(down right creepy)
Tetsuo I never know whats going on (cyborg porn???) sweeeeeet sweetback badasss song isn't winning any awards for a clear story
the second weirdest movie I ever saw.,...is unwatchable.... couldn't sleep for a week...its based on a story from the Marquis de Sade...so that really shows you how horrible it can be. Salo: 120 days of Sodom THIS MOVIE ISN'T MEANT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION you can't say i didn't warn you, the scariest movie ever, and its not a horror movie.
@edamame: If you thought Audition was weird check out the rest of Takashi Miike's films or the video I posted above........
@emequious_swerve: Hehe! xD Love Rabbits. One of my favorite films even though it does scare me a bit. 0.0
Mac and Me, because I had a cousin who used to look just like the Baby Alien in that movie and he scared the crap out of me ever since then.
@silkyballfro94: Eternal* great movie. Rubber is one of the dumbest movies I've seen. Back when Netflix parties were a thing on Xbox I'd watch dumb movies like that with my friends. Good times

Its just so creepy. Most of Lynchs movies are, and I don't think there is any reason or symbolism behind it or anything. Its just Lynch being a nutty buddy.

I honestly don't know if I ever seen any of his other movies. xD I found the background sound of Rabbits to be really scary? D= But yeah it definitely is creepy. Still wonder at times what the plot was about.

David Lynch created the TV show Twin Peaks, it might have been before your time, although it is on Netflix. Its very weird. He also directed Eraserhead, Dune, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive. Nothing really famous but movies that garnered enough notoriety that you might have seen at least one of them.
