2016 Lool. I think 2012 was.

70s or 90s.

As of recently, my favourite year's been 2007 - filled with some of my fav's of the 2000s like No Country for Old Men, Zodiac, Juno, The Bourne Ultimatum, Into the Wild, Superbad, Hot Fuzz and more. I still need to see the other great movies that also came that year like There Will be Blood, Assassination of Jesse James, Sunshine and Gone Baby Gone. What an awesome year.

But as for one of my absolute favourites of movie history, it's got to be 1999 - Fight Club, Saving Private Ryan, Iron Giant, American Beauty, Being John Malkovic and The Matrix. There are probably more and better influential movie years but 1999 had an undeniably brilliant streak for film.

Last year had the best set of films in a while, honestly.

1977 was when the most famous movie of all time came out, so that's my choice
