In your opinion what rapper has made 2014 his/her year?
What Rapper Has Dominated 2014?
Dominate in what way?
I'm guessing he means in terms of commercial success.
Iggy.
Dude you took the words right out of my mouth.
Iggy.
Only because King Kendrick didn't drop an album this year. :)

Then, yeah, Iggy.
Iggy Iggs. =)

Eh, even if Kendrick did drop an album this year he most likely would have been overshadowed commercially by Iggy considering what she's done.(If that's what we look at here for domination) If we go lyrically though, Kendrick didn't even need to drop an album this year, a bunch of guys have already run lyrical circles around Iggy as is.

Who cares. Almost everything I have heard on the radio has been utter garbage, rap wise.
Have you heard Logic's Under Pressure album or Big Krit's Cadillactica on radio? If not, I'd recommend getting both. Two great albums honestly IMO.
@wolverine08: It's not pervert rap is it, because that is one of my biggest beefs with current rap, I have heard. I'm not into the dirty pervert rap.

Naw, wouldn't call either pervert rap. LOL. Under Pressure is really personal especially.

I'm giving it a listen right now. 10 minutes in and nothing too special yet.
Taylor Swift.
-_- @dboyrules2011
Freddie Gibbs!
At least I'd like to think so, but Pinata is one of the most critically acclaimed hip hop albums this year.
@senior_cuddlebuns: Agreed. People sleeping on Gangsta Gibbs.
@_slim_: Yep! People who complain about how the 90s were better, this will probably be as 90's as it gets. Classic, straight, gangsta rap with some sick flows from Freddie who fits every track nicely and his delivery is consistent and he rides the beats nice, amazing production from MadLib heavy with velvety soul and jazz samples with some switch ups like Real and High. Nice features too from Danny Brown, BJ the Chicago Kid, etc. It'll go down as a classic in the years to come.
