I've noticed people assuming viners are a certain race based on their avatar or the way they type, I guess. A lot of viners have already declared their race, but I think it might be good to have a thread that keeps track of it.

Actually, there is an argument to be made that there is no such thing as "race" in the biological sense. It is a social concept, and not a very good one.
Ethnicity is how you identify yourself culturally, which I think is what the person was asking.
My descendants hail from a variety of places: England, Ireland, France, Sweden, Passamaquadi Indians, and whatever else crawled between the covers. With this last generation, we just added Japanese to the mix.
But my family has been in the New World since 1635. Whatever genes may have contributed to our stock, culturally we're American.

"Heritage: 50% Scottish, 25% English, 25% Welsh Culturally: English"
I like the way you put that.
Heritage: 25% Scots, 25% Black Irish, 25% Swedish, 8% Norse, 8% Welsh, 8% Danish.
I used to say I was half Scots, but then I did the math... (grumble).
Culturally: I'm American, but identify as Scottish.
Sling Shot says:
"Since ethnicity wasn't specifically asked for i will divulge my race which is human.

True, ethnicity and race are two different things (if race even exists), but I think you know what I meant. It's good to know you're human and not a skrull though.
