Emma Watson is my crush too! So obviously, we have to do battle over her. But first, on to cartoon women. I grew up watching Misty too, and she's funnier (especially in the old days when she just wanted a new bike) but May was cool too, and she had a Blaziken...which was just awesome.

Anime characters' ages are just numbers to be honest. If she was really 10, she wouldn't look like that. Japanese age of consent is 13, so that's why so many sexualized characters have such young ages. May being 10 or 11 is like her actually being like 15 or 16. Besides, I was a toddler when I was first introduced to Misty. Like I said, it has to do with growing up with these characters.

True, for a rule of thumb, I add 10 years to whichever anime character is involved, I mean look at Evangelion, half the fan service comes from Asuka, who's like 14. And I was actually reading that Elle interview with her while I was at work. I was disappointed, she kept talking about drinking, she better not become like the other young stars who go clubbing and end up on TMZ.
