I don't know if this has been done before, but post a few movies you've watched recently and whether or not you enjoyed them. Feel free to recommend some as well.
Recently, I watched Chronicle, which was a really good movie. I'd recommend it to anyone. I also watched Argo, which I thought was decent.
What Movies Have You Watched Recently?
If we're only talking about "movies you've watched for the first time recently", my last two were:
(Thank you Ollie)
- GI Joe 2 - Popcorn fun. Not too deep but action was good.
- DBZ Battle of Gods - Not the cliched DBZ movie and the action was fun.
- Tekken Blood Vengeance - Story sucked as hell but the fight sequences are among the best from animated films.
- Rurouni Kenshin (Live action) - Great story (faithful to the anime & manga) and good action. Loved it.
If re-watches are allowed then I'll add:
- Way of the Dragon - Lee's best film IMO. Very recommended.
- Superman 2 - MOS trailer made me watch this. Still fun. Very dated though. But still fun.
@ssejllenrad: Where did you watch DBZ?
@awesam: My brother sent me a copy. It's not translated, though. Good thing I know Nihongo.
Django Unchained, The Collection, and The Evil Dead.
Django was fantastic, it was my 2012 movie of the year, and I had to buy it since it recently came out.
The Collection was a meh torture porn movie, with few quality moments. I liked the ending though.
I found The Evil Dead to be creepier than the new movie. I wasn't a big fan of this one though. It played out pretty slow, it was typical 80's horror, and the demons or whatever were annoying as hell.
Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
I learn about this seeing a video of the top ten weirdest directions on films by Stanley Kubrick
the weirdness in this movie is that is in black and white on purpose, however Kubrick DEMANDED that the table on the war room was Green, because it would resemble a poker table symbolizing that the characters were playing a game with the world.
the problem is self-explanatory, if the movie is in black and white, the color of the table would be irrelevant.

One of the greatest films ever.
Anywho, I recently watched;
- Argo
- A Clockwork Orange
- Oldboy
My Bloody Valentine (the original) Think I will give the remake a watch tomorrow just to see how different they are.
It was a pretty solid slasher flik, nothing too special but a solid film nonetheless.Id rate 6/7 out of 10
Texas Chainsaw Massacre again
Please let it have been the original.
@tdk_1997: Definitely a huge fan of the first Predator. The second one is okay/decent.
@vercingetorixthegreat: Ah, yes. I got Target's steelbook version of that movie. It's great fun and I absolutely loved (yet again) Christoph Waltz. DiCaprio did a really good job too.
Most recently I've seen Oblivion which I really liked, but I'll be seeing Iron Man 3 tomorrow with a friend and on Friday with a meetup group.
I watched Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and The Avengers this weekend. I'm seeing Iron Man 3 tomorrow.
Avengers = One of the most fun comic book movies around.
Iron Man = A great origin movie for Iron Man, and a great comeback for Robert Downey Jr. I also love seeing Jeff Bridges in a villainous role.
Iron Man 2 = The not as great but still pretty good sequel to Iron Man. Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer, War Machine, and RDJ pretty much make the movie for me.
@queso6p4: Yes it was. Did a review of it recently too.The original and the second are the best.
Iron Man 3 and G.I. Joe in cinemas, I also finally got around to watching J. J. Abrams' Star Trek which resulted in me deciding to give the entire franchise another go.
This is just previously not seen before, I've also been re-watching multiple movies (as usual.)
Last movie I watched was Iron Man 3.
Django Unchained, The Collection, and The Evil Dead.

For shame! :P
Pain & Gain- Bay uses the Rock to make his best movie since " The Rock, and Rebel Wilson was cute. Awesome movie
