I don't think I have an accent......
What kind of accent do you have?
I have no accent, but I live in the southern US so my not having an accent is often mistaken for an accent in itself.
I can't believe so many people are saying that they don't have an accent. If you're American, you have an accent in the perspective in the eyes of a British person. If you're Australian, you have an accent in the eyes of a Japanese person. Get the point?
For those saying Canadian, I never realized there were different accents until I moved to Toronto. Outside of the obvious East Coast accent, there is definitely a difference between West Coast and say, Toronto. Words kind of blur into each other here whereas in Vancouver, we speak a lot slower and without heavy emphasis on consonants.
Just throwing that out there. :)
@theacidskull: You speak gibberish >_>
@lykopis: Vancouver ? Wondrous Sera, simply wondrous.
@joygirl: EVERYONE has an accent
Mine's just a typical American accent.
I'm both part Australian and Maori. Some people can hear the Maori influence, other people just think I sound aussie. I have a little speech impairment, but hardly noticable... I think. So I guess I have a "wierd accent".
@pyrogram: Britain land smells, America Rules !
I dunno... a bit of italian accent I guess(sometimes I tend to double the sound of consonants like everyone here in the centre of Italy lol, but I try not to do so, or I may change the stress of a world, but then I think that I never do so), but I can mimic a British accent or a Spanish one lol
The weather is bonkers -- completely bonkers out there.
Late is late. But yes, Mercy did very well -- see -- that's because she is clever. Very, very clever.
Now why did you have to make this into a competition? The thread is asking what kind of accent you have - not who's accent is best. Tsk, tsk, someone has issues, ya wanna talk about it? ;P
